Hi, I tried this dish. Turned out to be pretty good, Except the fact that it broke while flipping. What can be an alternative to potatoes as filling? Since potatoes felt a bit heavy
I must have gotten really lucky with my parents or you guys were just terribly unlucky. Because my parents come from the blandest, from a more regressive out of an already regressive Brahmin background, and still, not even my religious, strictly vegetarian, 60s born mother has shown any additional discomfort at us enjoying our non-veg during Shravan. Even though she is herself uncomfortable around non-veg and she has set down strict rules around cleaning up and kitchen organization that we have to follow if we want to eat non-veg at home, she doesn't go overboard just because it's some festival. My dad will joke about it a few times at the beginning of Shravan about how some people will give up even eggs during the month and if we have any intentions of trying that out this year. We'll just reply back around the lines of "it's bullshit, who cares" and he'll proudly agree as he sets down a pack of dozen eggs down on the table. If a 50+ years old who grew up in the 60s-70s in a Brahmin family in an M.P. village can be that sensible and scientifically minded to raise his kids to not care about superstitions, restrictive rituals and unsubstantiated, unethical religious beliefs, what exactly is the limiting factor that's causing so many people who had arguably better circumstances growing up to be so much more problematic?

What can be an alternative to potatoes as filling?
Since potatoes felt a bit heavy
Adding some thyme and oregano will elevate the recipe to next level...
Yes absolutely
Spaniards here... sorry guys the tortilla rakes a lot of olive oil thats the "bad" part
To avoid more oil you can steam the potatoes. Thanks
Maybe
Can u suggest eggless version of this recipe?
it must be egg day on youtube.. I found a recipe for indian scrambled eggs this morning and now this..

Awesome 👍🏻
Hema: Add 4 teaspoons of oil
USA: 🤨
Just asking out of curiosity. Do you find difficulty in holding the camera while recording it
She might have an overhead camera.

Oil oil and oil. Please send us recipes with less oil. Mrs. Subramanian Hema
U can try making an omelette without oil. Good luck 😂
@@rushicanna1164😂😂😂😂😂
She said , they use deep fried potato and onion , it is already less oil .
True true true😂😂😂😂
If you want to make Spanish omelette, this is how it’s done. Plenty of “healthier” recipes out there, move along 😊
Spanish people don't use chili or chili flakes into it.
It's an oil bath omelette😅
The pan is too small madam
salt is not a seasoning
Sravan ke mahine mein eggs kaise khaye?😂
Tumko ghar par mummy papa chillate nahi hai kya!!
Shravan mahine mai sirf recipe dekh ke hi pet bharana padega
