109 Ten minutes of infinite ambient with Clank Chaos and four Mutable Instruments Plaits

I think I've come up with a great system since I only play with it at the moment! It's quick and easy to patch! Not too many different mods. Working with four Plaits invites me to explore it a lot! Here we change short and percussive sounds that the Natural Gates generate so easily. So a bit of generative ambient 😊
Here is the setup:
- 1x ALM Pam's Pro Workout random signals
- 1 Clank Chaos to generate notes and modulations
- 1x Instruo Ochd for other modulations
- 2x Sonic Potion Mal-2, for even more modulations
- 4x Mutable Instruments Plaits and 1x Rings for vocals
- 1x Alright Device Chronoblob 2 and 1x Audio Damage Eos for ubiquitous effects
- Alyseum Q-Mix and I-Mix to mix everything
Handling:
I started by exploring a Plaits and generated the sound of water drops. In the Chronoblob for the echo and in the Eos for the reverb, this created my sound space. Then the chords generated by another Plaits. Notes come from Chaos. The melody is a third Plaits also driven by Chaos but with a (rather short) slide. The Rings is only used for the bass which regularly punctuates the whole. And then lots and lots of modulations with the Ochd and the Mal-2s to make everything come alive. Finally, I use Natural Gate as filters!

Je pense être arrivé à un chouette système vu que je ne joue plus qu'avec lui en ce moment ! Il est simple et rapide à Patcher ! Pas trop de modules différents. Le fait de travailler avec quatre Plaits m'invite à l'explorer beaucoup ! Ici on change des sons courts et percussifs que les Natural Gate génèrent si facilement. Un peu d'ambient générative donc 😊

Manipulations :
J'ai commencé par explorer un Plaits et généré le bruit des gouttes d'eau. Dans le Chronoblob pour l'echo et dans l'Eos pour la reverberation, cela a créé mon espace sonore. Puis les accords générés par un autre Plaits. Les notes viennent du Chaos. La mélodie est un troisième Plaits également piloté par le Chaos mais avec un slide (assez court). Le Rings ne sert qu'à la basse qui vient ponctuer régulièrement l'ensemble. Et puis beaucoup, beaucoup de modulations avec le Ochd et les Mal-2 pour rendre tout vivant. Enfin, je me sert des Natural Gate comme des filtres !
