Hey hey ! Thanks ! Yes I use sometimes the Cue like that but because the output is mono it is some like limited. What you see here : the mono output goes to my subwoofer and the main output to my speakers. The headphone output is used for the recording. Here I use the Cue in a more regular way to my head phones to keep an hear on the rhythm and some other sound. This avoids me to mess up the reprises ! 😊

Ha ha ! i must admit that Plaits integrate a lot of features that i enjoy since some months now ! So yeah ! Step into it ! 😄

Ha ha ! This one has really started by an accident ! 😄 used Next Tuesday on Plaits for sequencing and when trying the sounds I found a nice percussion rhythm ! The rest is noodling ! 😄

Enjoy the track ! 😊 Well observed for the small attenuators ! These are Tidbits, small pots that can be plugged everywhere. I use them a lot to adjust levels of everything. Here I use them as mutes to keep the mixing levels as set on the mixer !

Hey ! Thank you ! I really like this setup ! Compact and versatile ! One day, i saw a video where the author explained why you should never buy two modules that are the same ! 😄 You see right, that's the WMD Performance Mixer. It is a very nice mixer ! I use it with the channel expansion module, to get the effects back in ! I also use MSCL as compressor, one on the bass to dusk it when the kick occurs, and one as an insert at the end of mix, to glue everything, get the mix louder, and to reveal the high frequencies. I plan to add one or two muscle over the effects return to duck it too, but perhaps i should better use an inverted enveloppe follower... still thinking 😉

ah ! in this patch i use two modules to produce the notes : Qu-Bit Bloom and Chaos. Bloom is a dual sequencer. It is used for repeating notes. This is what structures this piece. As i remember, Chaos produce notes for the bass and one of the voice, they are randomly generated but i set the parameters to limit the range to a very few notes in the low octave (for the bass) and of course they are quantized. For the voices, i use the killer combo of Mutable Instruments Rings, Qu-Bit Surface, and Noise Engineering Cursus Iteritas. The last one is the module used for the Bass. It is filtered by the WMD C4RBN modulated by Xaos Batumi. Batumi is modulated by itself, range attenuated by WMD 4tten !
