I have the Australian Stock Saddle Co Patrol Poley and love it. I have the tackleberry cinch and although it appeared different, I absolutely love it. As a beginner, it makes cinching up a snap and I love the quick release. It makes putting on my tack easy on my antsy rescue Morgan. :)
sure youve released the girth quick but your $1500 dollar saddle is still outa there!! always release the breastplate, before loosening girth and vice versa for saddling, tighten girth then do up breastplate. You may say oh but its a quiet horse, i say dont leave anything to chance.

We call a bates clip but I love it it's so easy!!!!!
I see how that quick release is great for the cinch -- but what about the breast strap? Is there a quick release method for the breast straps?
uMbiquitous ... does that means it is Not found everywhere ? I think it is best with leather latigo not the nylon.
can you play polocrosse in that saddle?
isnt that called a bates buckle
We called it a bates patent buckle.
