I resemble this remark, as they say. The years 2020 and 2021 turned out to be nothing more than a temporary favour from the broad community - I’m just luckier to be in Australia. The sad thing is how EASY it is in Australia to conduct business and society outdoors, or semi-outdoors. There’s honestly nowhere easier to get it done, but we barely try at all. At least the masks have got slightly more fashionable and comfortable, and thank god it all happened in 2020 not 2010 or 2000 or 1990, with the technology the way it is finally. And I can be slightly grateful that booster shots are now available every 6 months, but after my 9th or 10th shot (I’ve honestly lost count), it’s bizarre how other countries will let you have one every 2 or 3 months. This week I start the golden period I get just twice a year, where it’s (sort of) safe for me to breathe the air of strangers for 4 weeks. But that’s ignoring the basic principle which is this: Mitigations are always great to take, whenever you can.
We where never in this together, this is the reality for the aged and us people with disabilities are still not treated as equals this is the truth, in tll able people get Thier heads out off there ass there will be no change.
