Because the pitcher got criticised because of "attention to detail", he had no reason to panic!!! The way he answered the question - you don't use your own product?, it could have been better and calmer, meanwhile he panicked

The couple seemed quite out of whack and their pitch was really quite cringey.They lacked focus and as rightly pointed out by Deepender "no attention to detail." They had superficial knowledge about their own business model and didn't present correct figures and statistics in support of their pitch. Sharks did the right thing by not entertaining their pitch.
