THE STATS I recommend in this video are based on lower than a 540 iLvL Windwalker, Once over that gear score I highly recommend using Ask Mr.Robot addon and website, because your stat priority will change based on your individual character. Hit+Exp 7.5% over 22% haste over 45% mastery over Crit 58% then Hit again... is basically how the numbers fall GOOD LUCK!!!

Stats look great man! I linked to Ask Mr. Robot to help people sort things out but you're right, I wasn't very clear in my explination. Once your mastery is up over that 45%ish range in a raid, mastery falls way down, and having a 540+ iLvl you will be there or darn close even reforging out of it. I wasn't there gear wise when I made this and that is why mastery was so high on my priority list. Thnx for the post!

Good to know about the stat priority for pvp....saves me from extensive testing at least, and priority doesn't change at all from what i am using for pvp now either. Again another great vid, thanks again for putting these out :)

Nice man Thank you for taking the time to post that, I am on the RJW bandwagon as well. I don't know about the 20% mastery thing, I can't get even close to that low even in my bad gear atm. But you are dead on with the testing over and over and never having the same exact fight with rng. I just try to be honest when making these things and base it on my #'s and charts, this time I got a good bit of flack about what my results were, but I really do appreciate the constructive comments like this
They both are great ideas, I was having the same issue with the first one, and it made it feel a bit slow compared to what i'm use to, the second one wasn't prioritizing touch of death for me for some reason... Either way TY both for posting these. I'm gonna fuss some more with both of them and see what I like.

Thank you, I have been planning on it for a long time, my page is set up my software is ready to go, and now that fall is coming life slows down giving me more time to sit in front of the comp. So Yes, Someday, I want to say Soon™, but i've said it before and life happened. I also am very seriously considering going for that top .05% next season.. which might be fun to watch.

I agree, They have the best guides around as a rule, and yes that's exactly it, once you get over that 520iLvl mark you have plenty of haste 5k ish seems to about do it for the almost never going oom. On a side note, once you get to near the 50% mark for mastery, Crit seems to be the way to go. I'm not 100% sure if that 50% is exactly what to shoot for or not as i'm still gearing up and just got my 2 piece bonus this week. But it is definitely worth testing and I'll update this guide soon™
Absolutely the best in my testing by a fair bit. I was testing in 520+ Ilvl gear though, prior to that there could be a point that you want to reach that was hit with the base stats from the higher lvl gear, but I didn't feel like it was worth exploring much with gear being so easy to acquire in 5.4.

Hey thought i would put it out there as some cool tricks for WW:
Youre images act like a transcendence waypoint, so you can have one on a target and be on another target and you can teleport between them.
Also if youre on low HP put out 2 of your images and use chi wave, the burst healing is insane because the wave will only target you.

I agree 100%, I been watching eatmopie vids since 4ever, and hes just getting back to pve, but trust me he knows his shit, I also have a 553 ww monk 54% crit, 16% haste, and 48% mastery, and having that extra mastery over haste with the A.O.C trink off sha of pride is actually a dps increase, but yea the top monks are using that setup, but testing is the key to finding out your best stat weights and your ilvl, that's it!
That is a great strat and people that have the Rune of re-origination have been using it. It is kind of a pain to do, and takes more focus than I am willing to put in. Generally you will be using stacks during trinket procs anyway and we gain stacks so quickly now imo that I find myself having to hesitate using another 6-8 stack brew because my old one hasn't run out. To each his own, there are long forum conversations about it, for people who have the time and energy.

I thought that for a long time but, and this is a big but... lol... The way I understand it works now is he adjusts based on your AP, so if he is out and you get a proc he will get the bonus as well.... I really haven't looked into it for a while though but now that he is off the global I will look into it more closely.

yeah you can do it that way and still do very well. The difference is actually pretty small at higher iLvls. Ideally you prioritize haste a bit higher so you don't ever end up with no buttons to push, if you go that route.
It should change yes, sometimes it will bug, mainly with the healing sphere macro.. 1/20 times usually only if you are spamming other abilities while healing, so I keep healing sphere on a separate hot key just in case.
I dps'd some challenge modes the other day and it really helps the tank out. RoP is also good and can interrupt but meh it really depends on what you are doing.
Can you please make a guide for keybinds / camera movement. I find it hard to turn and spam keys far away in combat. It would really help me with the knowledge of easy keys and how to use them effectively. Your guide has helped alot and I appreciate the video. Thank you

You could use dampen harm if you get stuck in Muertas chains of light and there is incoming wrath of the light and no way out of cc :D also works for horde counterpart rare if there is one
I had some issues with this macro, but it seems to run flawlessly if you do it like this:

Great guide. those macros were pretty handy. But a question. doesnt xuen take a print of yur current stats? so woulnd it be better to proc yur trinkets before summoning him?
healing elixirs are very effective cos it can be used while you are kiting and then suddenly you are on much more hp as well as buffed cos you've used a brew. great talent you just need an addon to track it with.
Thnx man, I tried to be clear in my disclaimer regarding this being for sub 540iLvl and stat weights change and EVERYONE should use the AskMrRobot addon and site. Is there something other than stat weights that didn't look right??
I really was doing 10k+ better this way... I never really trust the sims, they are more of a rough estimate, I really like Icy-veins though. For Me personally with my 532ish iLvl mast>Crit>haste works best, I really recommend everyone do a Lfr with both and see what works best for you.

Shouldn't you time your brew stacks with your trinket procs? I'm not a PvE'er, but that seems like the best time to use them to me (and if you hit 18-19 without any trinkets up, you use them to avoid capping).
There is varying thoughts on the expertise for pvp you want at least 3%, and you only need 3% hit to hit a lvl 90. I personally go 3% hit and aim for 6%exp for pvp, I do that because there are so many classes with high dodge/parry chance now it seems to help.

I always suggest manually typing these macros out and 1 wrong space can break the macro. Mine seems to work but i hear other people having troubles with it if this is the case you you try typing it out instead of copy/paste. If it still dosnet work there are a couple other suggestions in the comment son solutions. The key problem seems to be expel harm. I will play around with it this weekend and see if i can fine a better script, thanks for the feedback :)

It works perfectly, the only hiccup is after it runs the expel,jab sequence it does need to be spammed to get to that next jab.. super minor because i'm spamming it anyway.. you will see it in the next pvp vid :D

When using ascention I like to double jab to get 4 chi so I have 1 chi spare once I've gotten my Rising Sun kick off. That lets me hit my Fists of Fury within the cd of RSK and with tiger palm uptime 100% within the duration of FoF.
That changes in my opener when I'm trying to get as much chi use as possible :P

I don't ever test without cooldowns on live, since it is such a major part of our dps currently, tigereye brew mainly. Not using them when practicing is like fighting with one hand tied behind your back. I don't really know what my single target dps is off the top of my head, it varies greatly sometimes it's 110k sometimes its 200k+... I haven't sat in front of a dummy since 5.4 started, but i've been doing very well (generally top of the charts) in all the raids i've been doing this week.
Ok some after some feedback I edited the macro script some which should eliminate the lockup of touch of death and jab if expel harm is on CD, this should make jab feel more responsive and touch of death should fire off just fine at the appropriate time. Side note about these types of macros, they are ment to be spammed not pressed 1 time for desired result: #showtooltip Jab

It might just be a spacing issue with copy and pasting them, make sure there is a space after the commas I think that should handle it. If not let me know though I'll take a closer look.

Well, even sub 540.. crit was coming out on top parsing. Problem with running tests over and over is you never get the same procs twice. As you did, I ran so many tests to see what came out on top. I did it on live boss kills, and the only time I parsed, was crit way over. Sitting around 20% mastery is more than enough. And technically, sub 540, without use of RoRo - haste would more than likely be our best stat. I'm sitting 557 and cant tell but I have another 90 ww monk I can test with.
Hey eatmopie i have an interesting macro that does a priority check that goes touch of death if they are in range, expel harm if its off cd, jab otherwise i spam it as my chi builder and by default it just kills people the second they can be. I like it alot as it keeps heals coming in for me with expel harm and shrinks the amoutn of binds i have if you would like ill share it can you can test it out
With the cast sequence macro will that change the icon on your bar as well? I noticed with your rising sun kick and expel harm macro, the icon changed to touch of death and healing spheres.
Icy veins, which seems to be pretty best choice to me, says you go with haste until you're fast enough to never be "oom", as far as it fits, so u think that point is reached by pure gear for most people? Or is mastery simply better?

All authoritative sources have Hit (7.5%)=Exp > Agi > Exp > Haste (9350) > Crit > Mastery. Mastery is the worst to stack. Also, unusual that straight agi gems will be optimized.

Engineering has always been pretty much top dog, JC I believe is next on the list.. Here is the thing though, come Patch 6.0 there will be zero benefit to having professions other than to create items to sell, no more bonus gem slots, or hyper accelerators on gloves.. Bliz removed it all to balance everything out for WoD or if they didn't they made it so anyone can have it.

I use to be a big fan of Noxxic... But they didn't even update the mastery change in their guide this time, i'm pretty sure their guide is exactly the same as 5.3's which didn't mention the changes based trinkets etc... I'm not saying my way is best or they are wrong even.. But I know what is best for ME and I was doing around 10k More dps mastery>crit>haste than any other way... I invite you to test it and see what works best for you. Let me know if your results are different plz. :D
Try to use it before you have to jab again, because jab could proc it again and you don't want to miss out on free damage, once you have your t16 2piece bonus I say use it as soon as it procs. :D
Ox wave is realy nice love it because in bgs and arena you can stun all and that stupid heal behind, but it´s very hard to use right!!
Dampen Harm is pretty good in ToT heroic..:Tortos, animus, etc.
for pvp probably pretty good but in terms of pve...well...there are like 3 bosses where you can use FoF in SoO..so it's actually pretty low in your priority list.

Not showing cd of chi wave , I must look on spell chi wave to see when cd ends. And in your video cd is on macro showing when chi wave will of the cd.Why ?

I'm confused about gear. What kind of gear would be best for first getting into PVP? malevolent, tyranical or TOT gear? Which is least viable?
2x 1 handers are better, BUT... my pve set, I am using a 2h because I take what I can get even though it is slightly behind. So use whatever your highest Item lvl weapon/s are. But strive to have 2x good 1handers. GL
Oh also, I found rushing jade wind even single target (assuming your haste is decent) was more consistent DPS right now then the tiger for PvE. It's dumb, I know.. but my #'s ended up better with a constant 50k tick going out. Burst, yes tiger.. but consistent dmg - I dunno.. I like RJW
I'm trying the expel harm/healing sphere macro and the icon for each spell doesn't switch back and forth like yours did. It makes it difficult to tell what is up and when. Same problem for the chiwave/blossom macro. how can i fix it?

I agree but I think it would be pretty OP if they didn't nerf it atleast some.. I pulled some really crazy numbers on the 2nd boss of SoO during the add phases, like noone even within 50k of me :D
I may be LOL... The problem is I can't count the times either, but in the short time I haven't used it, I haven't missed it... yet.. :D

I have it just like this. The icon still stays the same as the one i pre selected for it. I got the chiwaveblossom macro set up to at least shw the cooldown on it and sti use blossom when it's on CD. no icon chnge but I dont use blossom too often. Still useful

Definitely never in PVE, in a cleave with 2 images and 3+ mobs + RJW= best cleave dps in game... But single target you are only doing about 85% tops with an image out... What I was considering was in PvP , because with tigereye brew our 85% is still pretty good dps and those glowy images confuse people giving you an advantage sometimes. Just a thought I was playing with :D

I copied and pasted this into wow. If Expel harm is on cooldown and i cant use ToD due to their HP, I have to press the button 3 times to get it to Jab once...is this how it is supposed to work?
Do you really use F1-F12 as keybindings? I can't imagine playing using that...
I changed wasd to esdf, that gives me an extra line of buttons in the left for spells, I left w for tiger palm and r for blackout kick since they are always used. Also notice that way you also have a and g for spells that you can spam, just so easy to reach them. And last, get your hand is esdf is so much easier without turning to your keyboard cause the f have the physical mark to place your index finger on it, they are supposed to be together lol.
Just some tips that worked great for me and helped me a lot in pvp... if anyone needs any ss or something like that let me know x)
yeah I use pretty much my whole keyboard all F keys all numbers.. numberpad even... I use strafe keys on my keyboard but all my other movement comes from my mouse. I have been doing it this way since before wow was a thing... So there is no hope for me changing now... But I do alright. I wouldn't recommend anyone try and use my keybinds though... :D

do we still want 6-7k haste before mastery or is mastery the absolute top stat?
i cant really explain why yours didnt work that well with me. I would have times that my jab just doesnt work, ultill my expell harm goes off cd
