Higher production values equals less cringe-worthy films, which is welcomed considering the messages they attempt to push. If these movies can be taken more seriously that will be a good thing for efforts to reclaim a saner culture.

This is yet another fictional (allegorical) story turned into a movie with its own definition of "Shifting" & is not based on the community that happens to also use this term (for something else entirely).
Let's not forget Steve McQueen in 1968's Bullit: he was a heck of a "shifter" in that. (Any good street racer was up until this last decade!) 🤔 😅
This film is its own thing & looks good! It's like the 2001 Jet Li film "The One", but with a major twist à la "The Devil's Advocate" (1997) 😯
