It's a great how-to. I don't like the look of the lights at all, but can't fault the video for that. It's a matter of taste, isn't it? Kudos for a great job in the demonstration of the install.
How do I figure out how many lights or how long of a track I can use to safely replace the existing fixture? I understand that they are designed for about 1 fixture/foot but I doubt that if I connected 30 feet of track that the existing wiring could support 30 lights. How do I know what I have wired up there already?
Please make sure your wire nuts are twisted on fully the connected wires should be twisted around each other after putting the wire-nut on this is a safety issue

Use a red Sharpie for marking your ceiling. Red Sharpie ink dissolves after 24 hours.
