The biggest problem with these torquer intakes is that the runners/ flow hit the head ports at a 45* angle and cause fuel condensation on the outer wall. Definitely OLD SCHOOL. 🙄Notice how modern stuff sweep in.
Uncle B, I have a 1980 C10 Big 10 Silverado 2 WD 4 BBL 350.5L. Do you have any recommendations on buying a new harness. Factory Harness is toasted. I put in a 12 Circuit Harness. Turns on , lights works Runs And Drives. But not everything is working. Like gauges, gas ,oil, temperature. I'm not looking to restore it. Just every day Work truck. Hate to cut wires and add wires. Needing advice on your expertise. Thank you. Robert
WELL, MY SON JUST REWORKED THE WHOLE HARNESS ON THE NEW 80 MODEL I HAVE. IT CAN BE QUITE THE JOB. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR POWER BOARD ON THE BACK OF THE GAUGES IS NOT WORKING. JUST A THOUGHT
@@unclebucksgarage7695 thank you for your response. Actually I bought a New circuit board. Still can't get the gauges to work. Resistors work. It's grounded . Can't figure out what going on. The 12 Circuit Harness doesn't have any lettering on it, just plain Jane.
I LOVE BUYING OLD SMALL BLOCK CHEVY PARTS AND REBUILDING THEM.
ME ALSO
I did a similar thing to my intake manifold. Ran it through the beed blaster and painted it with rustoleum, hammered. Turned out fantastic

Sandblast will make it come out dull but bead blasting it will make it come out shiny and you don't have to spray clear on it which will yellow
Thanks for the tip!
