Thank you ☺️! It’s from Homebase (from a couple of years ago but I think they do issue a similar one every year) and painted with the colour ‘Wild Thyme’ by Cuprinol. Oh that’s so exciting! You have plenty of time to plan and make a list of all the trees and plants you want!! I hope you enjoy the process 🥰
Autumn sedum joy is easy to propagate from cuttings. I highly recommend using vermiculite for seeds particularly small ones. A small bag goes a long way and it was absolutely fantastic in producing strong seedlings. Small amount of perlite for cuttings
@@bobbiostudio many thanks for your reply. I’m currently trying to manage/force flowers and veg to be in bloom etc on the 14th. May. My reason being is I’m a teacher in Worcester who runs a school gardening club. We are currently working towards another show garden for the RHS Malvern spring festival school garden challenge. Ideally all plants used should be home grown from seed or plugs. A massive ask but any tips you could give for this adventure would be more than welcome. Last year we received the top award of Highly Commended😎 x
Hello! From the info via Amazon: the big ones are 14 x 16 cm (where I sowed sweet peas) and the smaller are 10 x 12 cm. If you have a lot of seeds to start, I wouldn’t recommend them as they take quite a bit more time to fill than standard pots/cell-plug trays. Hope that helps 😊!
Really like the size of your cold frame. Thinking about getting one. Excited to start some seeds this spring. Have a great week. Thank you for the inspiration!
Trying winter sowing this year. This was educational, thanks.
It seems like a bulb planter would be useful to fill the bags more quickly.
I have just sowed some sweatpeas and cosmos, i have them in my bathroom on the window. Looking forward to seeing them germinate!
Love those ❤️!! How are they coming along? 😘
I will soon start a new garden. 14 months to go. Until then, I can watch yours.
This small cold frame looks nice!

Thanks for the tip! I do want to try out vermiculite, good to hear you have good luck with it 😊
I would love to hear more about your cold frame. Thank you!
Do you mean seedlings updates? 😊
