Monty was brilliant and beat Rommel out of Africa and then Europe
I absolutely love, respect, and admire General Montgomery. Except that I am disappointed that he referenced "luck" rather than the Almighty God, and I thought that he knew better.
Montgomery was a bigger hindrance to the allied war effort than the Germans.
Can't of been that bad beating possible the best war general in history.. In a domain so very different from his own
I agree. Put the shirts right up em nazis with his absolute confidence and fighting spirit. No mercy to the maddasses of Earth.
Montgomery was a great general who never lost a battle and took care of his troops. A truly great man.
@@alangilbert6064 "Never lost a battle". What of the men lying in Arnhem?
Depending on who you ask, he was either the greatest or the worst allied commander of the war. There is apparently no room for nuance in such a discussion : /
