And even that fight was like a tune up fight. There was no indication during thst fight that he belonged there.. those knees to the body Jon was landing were fucking brutal. His corner could have thrown in the towel and it would have been justified imo. He got destroyed

The competition caught up with Aldo, and perhaps USADA if you know what I'm saying. Aldo isn't the featherweight GOAT. Volk or Holloway. Volk's just being diplomatic....Aldo was great but the UFC got much more competitive, is all.

Dustin the Diamond Poirier has always been one of my all-time favourite UFC fighters! Only he knows what it's like to be in his shoes and whatever decisions he makes with regard to his retirement, life, etc. must be respected. Only an ignorant, chickenshit casual would question his decisions. Nobody can deny that he is definitely one of the best UFC lightweight fighters ever and a true legend of the sport! He has earned his stripes and proven himself consistently by stopping several top contenders in the division over the years. He is tied with Gaethje at one apiece, so what's the problem? I'd say both equally deserve another shot at the championship. As it stands, Poirier is the only worthy opponent available, so enough with the shit talk about his upcoming fight against Makhachev.

Dustin is a true legend of the game. Oliveira just lost a razor thin fight, Arman will wait for full preparation, Max just fought, Gaethje was assassinated, Chandler lost his last one and is waiting for Conor. Poirier finished #5 Chandler, was even with Gaethje before the 3rd head kick got through and has just finished a hungry up and comer. Can't see an issue with it especially since it allows Islam to fight before October again.
