    As a recreational fisher around the Tasman Peninsula through the 80s n 90s, i had several encounters with Lella and other boats purse seining for Jack Mackerel. After they fished out the area, we went through 5 Tuna Seasons not seeing a single Bluefin Tuna.....a collapsed Fishery just like the Orange Roughy....they just never learn. Jack Mackerel were also an important source of Cray bait for the Cray Fishermen....

    I did about 13 years in the navy and I remember bass straight could rough on one and then really smooth the next time, no crossing was ever the same.
