I was young then and it left such an incredible impact on me I haven’t let go of the fandom since. And I completely understand that =] Iv'e seen many younger furs get confused about this stuff however, and make assumptions, so, although I was wrong about Anthrocon and I thank you for correcting me, there will be younger furs who think that some policies apply to all cons, which they don't, and I hope this conversation string will reduce some of the confusion =] I see things as a bigger picture so I'm sorry if I caused confusion ^^

This video has so much meaning for me. Its almost been a year since I first viewed this video that truly opened my eyes to the furry community. I had called myself a furry before, but after I saw this video, I was finally proud to call myself a member of this great community of people. I cannot express my gratitude that I have for Rev for making this video and putting it on youtube, because without this video, I don't think I would of had such an eye opening experience as I had.
This video is what convinced me to be active in the furry community, it convinced me to make a fursuit and go to Anthrocon 2013. It gives me such feels now.

its only free if youre visiting the con in typically the lobby area. if you want to go into the convention space (panels, dance, dealer's room, etc.) you need to register, which does cost money.
I've been watching this video for about 2 years now I've probably seen it 100 times But I just realized that the gold part at the beginning spells out anthrocon 2012 Man I'm slow i was just soo fascinated by the preeeety moooving liiiights
It's this that makes furry conventions so special. I want a fur suit to go to cons to make other people happy. I especially love to see how much of a blast the kids are having with us. This is what makes furries so special.
@Fursuiter98 you can go at any age, you just have to have a parent with you if you're under 18. It's a common misconception that you can't go to a fur con if you're young.
I wouldn't worry about your favorite suiters being gone by 2016, Even if they're getting old most furries will be active in the fandom their entire lives. And good luck with your fursuit!
