And I completely understand that =] Iv'e seen many younger furs get confused about this stuff however, and make assumptions, so, although I was wrong about Anthrocon and I thank you for correcting me, there will be younger furs who think that some policies apply to all cons, which they don't, and I hope this conversation string will reduce some of the confusion =] I see things as a bigger picture so I'm sorry if I caused confusion ^^
its only free if youre visiting the con in typically the lobby area. if you want to go into the convention space (panels, dance, dealer's room, etc.) you need to register, which does cost money.

He uses a hacked Panasonic GH1 with a 7-14mm wide andle lens and I don't exactly know the brand but I'm pretty sure it's a steadicam rig he's using to get the smooth fly effect shots.
@Fursuiter98 you can go at any age, you just have to have a parent with you if you're under 18. It's a common misconception that you can't go to a fur con if you're young.
Try meetup.com! I found out about a group that meets only an hour or so from my hometown with it! I mean, it isn't a large con, but it is still something! Or you can see if there is another convention near you, for instance I usually suit up for our local comic con and the first and last day of the large anime con that I attend!
