Wow, I was MAJORLY impressed by this. I absolutely loved everything about this! Great camera working and video editing. I gotta say my favorite part was having Weregarurumon run up to the camera, hit it, and the spin, at 0:11. You managed to capture a ton of REALLY wonderful high lights from the con, and I found myself laughing outloud in how FUN it was, at least 3 times throughout the video. SO wonderful!

+JD D'gostino funny that you replied around now (came out a few weeks ago and family were fine with it, fine with being a furry too, boy friend moving in with me in two days (been a long distance (across pacific) relationship for two years), my dad might give me money to go to a convention later) so i possibly might be able to attend one this year (still dont have a fursuit though with my partner i'll likely be able to get past the shyness) so i guess that there is evidence of what you said :P

JD D'gostino well you'll likely find someone sometime, be sure to look in the unexpected places though. i met my partner through a small furry forums (on the 20th it's been two years since we considered our selves to be in a relationship), and our first topic of discussion was him giving me dental advice. i really didnt expect it to be him who ended up being my partner (i sorta didnt even know my sexuality back then) though im happy as hell that he chose me to be his (have had a few small bumps on my side of the relationship but it seems to be holding strong) sorry to hear about your friend and relative. not really sure what it's like though since i have never really been a person to have friends, and im pretty distant with it comes to relatives.

Great editing kiba! I always love it when people edit to the beat. I have a few questions, what camera and rig do you use for your steady shot, and how much time did it take you to make this, i know editing is a long process especially searching though clips for that right feel.

+Jacob Zadow Conventions provide "panels" (classes/lectures/activities) for con-goers which could be anything from First Time Fursuiting 101, to How to Make Your Own Fursuit, etc.. They also have art shows and auctions which the convention helps to donate to a specific organization. There is a "dealer's den" which is full of artists and dealers who are open for services where you may inquire on getting some artwork done for yourself, or perhaps even to commission a new fursuit. There are fursuit and non-fursuit dance competitions, fursuit games, and night dances. And if you just want to chill out and relax, you can just roam around and be silly. I only covered a fraction of what a convention has -- you really have to go to experience it yourself.

Derpina Herpencia i know how you feel.... i live very close to it too (15 minute drive is the best measurement i got) meeting duke also seems like a really cool thing (used duke's videos to hint to a friend that i liked him) sadly its going to be a few more years till i am able to attend FC. i will have my drivers license before FC 2016 but i'd like to avoid letting my family know, and i dont have a fursuit yet (would be too shy without one)
***** I'd want to meet a popufur there too. Also, there's no shame in letting your parents know you're a furry. If they think it's weird, then they'll have to accept that. If they take it as "YOU'RE AN ANIMAL FUCKER", show them videos on Kijani Lion's channel, Idk.

Every con has different prices but typically $45-55 for basic level. Sponsor level will be more but you will get more benefits such as swag, food, etc...again, depends on the con.
Megan Magno The ones they give you at the con when you first register. You typically cannot attend events or get access to certain areas (e.g. dealers den) without these badges.
up til 2:39, its another good video, though I don't care about the slo mo effects during the juggling scene and other scenes that uses it. (I just hope you're still editing videos your way and not copying someone else's editing skills, like revit for example)
Revit is a good camera guy and I have much respect for him. You should be able to clearly see that we have different editing styles. There is nothing wrong with using slomo. It is just one technique used to help to tell the story in an interesting way and can be used by anyone. How much of the technique one uses and to what degree is just a creative decision.

That doesn't mean I won't use it in moderation in the future if it helps to better tell the story. I shoot with a Steadicam Pilot and a GH4. I would say it usually takes me on average 1-1.5 weeks for a con video.
