The A.I look good, career mode looks fun, it's such a shame there's controversy around the handling because if they got that right it looks like a fun game
They said that they will fix it, but coming from EA and Codemasters, I think it wont be a huge change.

I do feel like F1 23's AI was alot easier. I'm ok pace-wise, went up from 80% on F1 22 to 100% on 23

According to Brendon the handling becomes better (still far from perfect) with a very stiff setup. I hope these handling issues can be fixed/patched. Yes my delusional hopium is normal for me as a Ferrari fan.

You’re probably just used to the horribly over saturated look of 23. When I jump from GT7 to F123, F1 looks awful. The vids of F124 I’ve seen look so much better

to be fair. from what we see now compared to old as a single player, this is massively improved. however as you have said jarno. if they improve the handling... this can be a proper big seller. theres alot off doubt but i think codes can sort it intime for new season :)

Question, if you don't like playing on controller why would you want other people to feel the same? Wouldn't you prefer it if controller felt more like wheel and not the other way around?
Also, pretty much everyone who plays F1 on wheel has played on controller. That's where they started. They switched to wheel because it feels better. You should try it if you like racing games.

thats just a skill issue, you can be pretty fast on controller, at least in previous games. unfortunately this controller has been nerfed heavily this year, even with no assists.
@@talibjames2659 yea as a controller only player since I dont have the room for a wheel, I beat/compete very closely with all my friends on wheel and 95% of online players in ranked/multiplayer. 23 felt so good for controller imo and its a shame that they killed it on 24

Despite the fun its been seeing the reaction to the bad handling, I am genuinely convinced there is a solution to fixing this handling model. It should never have come to this however, it has been an unmitigated disaster for Codies.

t 11 and 12 i think at Aus you can do flat out in f1 24.. but you need to like do the fernando style of jerkng it hard. you gain tyre temp obvs butttt you fly through

One positive i've seen is the AI actually battle each other in corners now so the AI DRS trains aren't as bad

i also hope desperately they keep the esr modes like this permanently not only for the player but also for the ai... this is a true life like simulation with this and i really hope they do keep this as it really does open up many strategy doors here not only for single player but for psl and esports in general. this is a massive improvement compared to previous entries this alone.

What a drive. Pure skills. Not a simple contact with any driver whatsoever. Cleanest driver on the grid. Unmatched pace. This is the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen in more than 20 years of motor racing. Driver of the day well and truly deserved.
