    Lloyd Bridges married his wife Dorothy in 1938. They stayed together for 60 years till his death in 98. Dorothy died in 2009. They had 4 children

    Enjoyed it, thanks BT. Twisty story, good cast.
    And I wonder who that busty blonde was, in the classified ad office, with the upswept hair. I wonder if the producers were testing her out to see if she'd provoke lots of fan mail. That's what happened with Tony Curtis in his first bit in Criss Cross around the same time. He has no lines, just dances with Yvonne Dr Carlo in a nightclub, and the fan mail poured in, asking, "Who was that guy??" He was known as Anthony Curtis still at that point in time.

    • @IrvONeil-fn6cp
      @IrvONeil-fn6cp 3 года назад

      I looked up the full cast list on IMDb and found out the busty blonde's name was Carole Gallagher and she did small parts at MGM and RKO. Her role in this film is listed as "Newspaper Flirt." She was married to cowboy star Dick Foran for a time. She died in 1966 at only 43.

      @@IrvONeil-fn6cp 'That busty blonde' was the star of the film. 90 minutes of her moving about in the office would have made a pleasant movie in itself.

    • @IrvONeil-fn6cp
      @IrvONeil-fn6cp 5 месяцев назад

      @micro-organism-pv5gd No, Carole Gallagher was the busty blonde. What I meant was, perhaps the movie studio that made Secret Service Investigator was testing her out with her appearance in the same way Tony Curtis was tested out in Criss Cross by dancing on-screen for two minutes with Yvonne DeCarlo. He was so striking in that scene that it provoked so much fan mail that his career got a big boost. Likewise, Carole Gallagher was the best thing in Secret Service Investigator, as @leelarson107 said above (and with which I agree!), but unfortunately her career did not progress as successfully as Tony's.

    • @IrvONeil-fn6cp
      @IrvONeil-fn6cp 5 месяцев назад

      @micro-organism-pv5gd I ended up watching the movie again after leaving the above reply. With more good actors than I at first recalled! A fun film. Always good to see George Zucco in charming villain mode, and John Kellogg as "Bennie" was always a good noir thug.
