I can’t get enough of these Mr Wong movies. I never watch tv or listen to the news for years. This is my way of relaxing and enjoying films where the actors didn’t have to rely on cgi, sex, swearing or violence.
    They are just brilliant.

I am enjoying these Mr Wong detective stories. Not only do I love Boris Karloff but I so enjoy him playing a detective. I can't believe it took over 50 years for me to hear about Mr Wong. I grew up watching Warner Oland play Charlie Chan now I feel like I was robbed LOL between Basil and Warner I now feel my 1940s detective stories are completed.

If Street and Bobby would work together they would make a great detective. 😊❤ She can ask people questions and he can yell at them when they are lying .😊😊😊

    I love the Wong movies.
Wong is great but Street is a bad cop, he's not on the take, he doesn't steal. He just spends all his time trying to convince a guy he killed the person.

That captain just yells and has a sour look on his face all movie long, very annoying.

"dizzy dames", so funny how society changes, look at people in the street, everybody wears hats, and some of the women's hats, lol, what were they thinking. Endangered birds, kill it and put the feathers on a hat.

And Capt. Street comes out of the elevator and throws his cigarette in an ashtray lol. I'm old enough to remember ashtrays outside of elevators. Ashtrays were everywhere. Ah! The good ol' days. 😢

These were the golden oldies! I LOVE IT! No matter how slap-stick & cheesy these films were, they're way better than the CGI crap we get now! I'll take these treasures of films, over the s**t-fest woke puke that's being shoved down our throats nowadays in the "name of progress"!! 😂! Yes......some of the scenes in these old films are silly and laughable, coz that's the BEAUTY of innocence from that time & era....🙏👌
