There is a reason why Pep's City have won four in a row. They avoid an unhappy dressing room. If someone expresses a desire to leave, City won't stand in their way, subject to receiving an appropriate offer. Hence Cole Palmer was sold for a good fee, and City went on to win the PL without him. That's no "fumble" ... it's great management.
Southampton have basically been the Man City B team for years now. This season they signed Harewood-Bells for about 20 million, last season they signed Shea Charles for 10 million, the year before that they signed Lavia, Bazunu, Larios and Edozie for about 50 mill. If you want to know how City keep passing FFP blame Southampton for signing all the youth players they don't want.
Whilst Pep has admitted he should of given Palmer more minutes I dont think it was a mistake to let him go, Palmer wanted first team football, and he was never getting into that 10 position for city, Kdb and Foden would have taken priority in the middle and he would be second to Bernardo and even now he wouldn't be our 10 as Foden is better. Chelea was the perfect move for Palmer as he can play in a top side where he is given the freedom to do what he wants, under pep he wouldn't have had that, Palmer is a top player and in the perfect club for where he is in his career and 45 mill for a player who hasnt played much was a great deal, there will be more players for city. I can see big move in Palmer future for shore
Palmer, Brahim, Frimpong and Lavia would have set City up for dominance in the next ten years not only in the Premier League, also in the Champions League. Palmer and Brahim would have replaced De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, Frimpong replaces Walker and Lavia is the perfect understudy for Rodri. Some might say Sancho and Tosin which is a good shout.
Bro how did we have all these academy players and let all of em go… like olise, rabiot, lavia and karius surprised me magine if Pep had these players it would’ve been a quadruple every season😭
Cole Palmer is definitely the one I wanted to stay at City. Leaving out Grealish or even Foden wouldn't have been as costly as Palmer. Palmer could fit into the city setup as an attacking midfielder post KdB with ease. He is a baller. At the moment the way Foden is playing that market value of 150 millions is just over for Foden. He isn't even worth 80 millions for sure. If city can sell him for 80 millions, sell him and get Jamal for 150 millions.
Palmer was never good enough to deserve a starting position in pep's starting 11 and city results speak for themsleves 😂😂his good but not good enough accept it and move on pep dont need palmer and never did all this nonsense of him winning ballon dor when there are real players out here like mbappe vini halaand and lamie yamal be serious even zlatan never got a ballon dor
Romeo Lavia former Man City academy graduate played with Cole palmer an Rico Lewis😊
Chippy chips innit🥶

(FIRST VIEWER) Manchester City are an amazing team! (Wish i could say the same thing about Manchester United😢)
Lol😂

Been noticing this pattern apparently lavia had a huge sell on clause aswell.
You are so underrated
Palmer to chelsea is one of the biggest blunders Guardiola ever made. If he held Palmer, he would have made over 120 million.
i think euro 2024 influenced palmer move to chelsea
@@idccdi0016?
Or maybe if he stayed at City he wouldn’t have shined like he did at Chelsea
