I LOVE Arcuin the penguin. That hammer and chain is so amazing, and love how he drags it while walking
Yeah I honestly think its one of the coolest design I've seen in platform fighters. That chain that explodes when the opponent is too far away is such a cool way to keep your combo going, to force close-up fight and to kill confirm too. Makes your offense very dnamic it looks like. I think it's sick

It was fun as hell playing as La Reina . I can't believe I got that recovery down on stream. I hope she gets into rivals 2 easily the most fun i had playing in workshop

From listening to the vod, dan has stated that all the artists have been loving La Reina so its at least high in the suggested.

Bhadra has my vote, love his kit, model, and aesthetic. Lore wise, I think he'd fit right in as a wondering mercenary for hire.

Never thought I would watched characters inspired by Johnny, kanji and akihiko in rivals. Loved the characters
The best part is that there are a lot of other REALLY cool characters on the workshop page, outside of those seen here! I'd recommend checking it out!
La Reina is an incredible demonstration of how to show personality in a character's moveset, specifically her jab, parry and uptilt; her animations even put the main cast to shame 😅

Arcuin has such an epic character design. The chain and the boulder is a really cool idea. And the hammer looks satisfying to use. I would main this character if it was in rivals 2

I definitely undervalued Cirra, her gimmick might not be as flashed out as some other characters but her movement and combos are a joy to watch

Since other are dropping names. Saying im huge fan of Awatsu & Ziggy. For their uniquem movmemnt & the amazing unique ideas of awatsu with their shape & such. (& The best taunt in rivals)
I want bhadra in rivals 2 so bad.
Secondarily, I really like helios arcuin and la reina. It'd be cool to see all of those chars get in. such fun ideas

We're really close in preference! Helios, arcuin or reina would all make me happy. Bhadra I like less, but I understand it's a great design too.

Cirra is such a cool character
I crave La Reina, I beg for more than one workshop character to make it in PLEASE
I was just looking at these characters in the workshop. I really hope La Reina wins, she's everything, the more i see of her the more i wish she wins. I hope they allow 2 characters instead of 1, most of these characters could win. Ness yo-yo dawg(Ziggy) is visually cool and looks very fun. Rhyolis looks like a fun quadruped, fits Orcane and Sylvanos, Rivals should have one for each of the 4 main elements. Arcuin looks very clean, both in art and gameplay. Bhadra has a solid kit. Cirra looks cool as ice and her gameplay looks incredibly fun, she'd be a solid addiotion for the air element, she fits the Rivals cast the most.
I appreciate this video having little windows to showcase the character's they're about to play. The tournament looked like it was with real characters, they looked like balanced matches and were often at 1-1
There's SO much I adore about Bhadra. The character model, moveset, and concept for the railings all look so fun and cool, especially from watching these highlights. But also the animations, especially the idle animation, i don't know why it strikes out to me so much but it's beautiful (same goes for La Reina!) I'm rooting so much for Bhadra, I need this character in Rivals 2

Bhadra is probably my favourite workshop original characters, the golden rail kill confirms are so satisfying to land
I really want both Cirra and Bhadra, I wish it could be two instead of just one!

Cirra is super oppressive, been playing workshop for a few years with good players and she feels a bit too easy to setup and play while also having insane options.
So many characters lose to her buttons alone since they're so disjointed. Very happy bhadra won!

I dont play much of rivals if at all but im seeing characters being played that are not on the character select roster. why is that?
Rivals has a system that let's people add their own custom characters to the game through the Steam workshop. This tournament used exclusively Workshop characters

Nice!!! i didnt know there was a character creator in the game. played it a few times and loved it and watched a few tournaments. I backed Rivals 2 on kickstarter and decided im going to wait for that to put a lot of time in.
