Dell PowerEdge R740 - This will be the 14th video in our Dell R740 video series. We will show you How To Rack your Dell R740 2U rackmount server. This will be a very short and simple tutorial. We will attach a pair of sliding rails to our rack and then we will physically install our R740 onto the rails. Main obstacle - just make sure you line up your rails in the same spot within the rack. There are also some buttons on the side of the rail that need to be pushed to unlock and slide back into the rack. Again, this is a very simple video, but we wanted to make sure we covered all major aspects of the R740, including rails and rack mounting. So the way our rack is engineered is that there are soms generic rails under the bottom diskshelf and then the other is just sitting on top op that so if you have to take out some of the bottom one you have to take the whole thing out 😂 and I did this because there weren't any rails for the top one... and we just need to put another das in that column so extracting time (heavy as sh1t)
