The c2 is such a good all arounder display specially at 42"
Visually that giant monitor is stunning. For me personally I’ve downsized from a ultra wide 34” to a 27” and I find it’s easier to remain focused. I may try out a 32” but I’m fine for now with a 27” + open macbook to the side.
Bocchi wallpaper is great, and I had no idea that GMK made Yuru Camp keycaps. Which is also very cool.

Great video! I was hoping you could go into more detail about using the C2 OLED as a monitor as I’ve been thinking about doing the same but hearing the same warnings about burn in and dimming, refresh rate, etc. also, since LG. Came out with their 42 inch Oled monitor, I’m wondering how the two compare?
I finally bit the bullet and got me the trackball and already i've noticed the difference and it's only been a few hours.. I think the OLED tv as a monitor is my next upgrade.. 😉. But that keyboard is looking tight too though..

Your setup looks great but you have to take in account that the bigger the monitor, the lower pixel density you get watching from a given distance. In my case, as my working space is small, my head is at max. 40 cm from the monitor, so 27" is more than sufficient.

The Sony CD900ST is legiiiit. I have it and is the only headphone I need. I've tried ones that are thousands of dollars and I still go back to the good old Sonys.

@@DNKIThe pads could be a bit thicker though. I know people usually go for Yaxi pads (had them too) but they are rather pricy. I replaced my old yaxis with Steelseries Arctis pads and they sounded just as well (with a bit more low end).
@@onapersonalnote7045 I picked up a pair of Yaxi pads for both the CD900ST and my M1ST on my last trip to Tokyo and the exchange rate on my side. If not for that, I would have looked at alternatives for sure

Hello, how did you manage to stick Quntis ScreenLinear bar to the OLED TV ? I am trying it now, but since the TV is too thin at the top, the Lightbar doesn't get firmly attached to the TV
1:23 Nah man, you gotta raise that monitor up to eye level, make it float with some sort of vesa mount. 4K 40+inches 100% scale is where it is at tho.

How about staying on your desktop for long period of time as using an OLED TV? can I ask for feed back on it? Does your eyes easily get tired compare to normal monitor?
As an audio pleb, Are the Red band headphones better for listening to music, or are the Blue band headphones just as good?
good video! Would have been interesting to see if you had more than one monitor, which arm system you would have used. I just got a flexispot desk myself the s7 and love it and the dual monitor arms just save so much space! Also what speakers would you use for this kind of setup? I agree cable mgmt is a bitch but especially when I have 3 comps feeding into my setup and a laptop lol. I have 2 under cable trays and counting.
For what I need, dual-monitors don't add anything to my workflow. I like keeping things simple! Same reason as to why lean on headphones and the TV speakers.
For multiple computers and sources, I'd definitely want multiple screens and a better audio interface to handle switching and speaker outs. But at that point, desk space would be... a time haha

I need/want so many things lol (my ps5 is also in this setup so yet another source) I am doing a makeshfit L shape setup with my new desk and old. Its my gaming/work/misc storage comp setup so I guess Im not bound for something simple. If you ever expand your existing setup I def want to see the vid and what you do with it! Thanks for replying
LG C2 42 has only one issue. Can not disable bluetooth. We are using for editing in FCPX and its great. Only this bluetooth issue is bad

I tried a 48 before, unless your desk is very deep, it’s a bit too big, 42 is perfect for me

messing with the service menu Voids any burn in warranty. Asus has a 43" OLED with anti glare and heatsinks and DP inputs and HDMI 2.1 inputs etc. better for PC use.

Doesn't matter how big it is, one single screen is filthy pleb tier. Dual 32" LCD is my personal sweetspot and since I don't need both of them to have all the features, it is also much cheaper to go with one 60Hz 4K with nice colors and one high refresh 1440p for games. You only do one thing at a time and both are completely fine as "second screen".

That price is such a bargain for an OLED TV! I love OLED but I would constantly worry about burn-ins so I might go with miniLED later this year to replace my dual monitor layout. Anyways, your new setup is great!
