- second of all, i'm aware of the criticism i get of being compared with another well known animator "VIVINOS". and yes, i fully accept that i do take inspiration from their videos, tho it is not in my intention to copy or profit from them.
- this video is NOT monitized and i don't intend to gain anything more from it. again, this is just me messing around with some art + editing program on my tablet for the fun of it. (if u are getting ads from this, youtube kinda just does that, i don't get ad revenue lol)

@@viviangarcia5696 it's not really copying if they just took inspiration. there's not really a specific video that they seem to have been inspired from anyway (except for maybe tili tili bom, but even then the two are clearly different).
I'm not sure if the rose color has any meaning here but here is what the meaning of a pink or light pink rose is:
"A light pink rose: Generally is an expression of sympathy or condolences. It can also mean admiration, poise, grace and joy.
A pink rose: Indicates happiness, you could give pink roses to indication your happiness with the relationship of the recipient. This rose could also indicate that you admire the person’s gentleness and grace."
A pink rose also indicates "forever"
i think its just the rose that was on her veil, showing that now whenever she sees one its going to remind her of the horror.

When I first watched this I was thinking “oh that’s sad, she became a nun, a bride of a god, and her girlfriend became a bride of a man. They can’t love each other openly.” And then it was SO MUCH WORSE

Okay so i’m not sure of the relationship of these unfortunate souls, i’m gonna assume they are friends (or gfs 👀)
They both seem to worship this “God” as seen on 0:18, though Blondie seems hesitant and doubtful on this so called “God”.
Brunette and Blondie are very close for sure as seen on 0:33. For some reason, they get separated. Blondie ends up being a nun while Brunette ends up being a bride to this “God”.
It seems that they made a promise of some sorts but this promise cannot be kept with the current situation both are in. Blondie expresses her grief to Brunette, most likely about Brunette being a chosen bride. In which Brunette reassures Blondie that she’ll be just fine 0:42.
I’m thinking being a chosen bride will only lead to suffering and anguish, plus Brunette definitely had no choice but to accept her cruel fate, opposing to Blondie here who desperately clings on to the Bride Brunette 0:49 since she’s desperate to stop what’s about to come.
0:53 We see Bride Brunette tied onto a cross, not struggling nor moving in attempts to last minute escape but simply accepting her fate. The “God” or Cult leader then burns Brunette, 1:10 Blondie has no choice but to watch as her friend/lover Brunette burns into crisp, feeling anguish and sadness seeping within opposed to the other nuns.
I believe Brides are to be burned as a sacrifice of some sorts? Ion know cult stuff.
1:39 + 0:05-0:17 we see Brunette grieving infront of Blondie’s grave.
1:43 Spirit Brunette?? offers Blondie a pink rose, we don’t know what happens afterwards but one thing is for sure, the image of burnt Brunette will forever haunt her mind.

I think yall are going way too far for your explanations. How I see it is two woman (possibly gay but I think more like friends in this scenario) they are good friends but in the mast women didnt really have power or control over themselves so the only time they are "free" is during their childhood and maybe teenage years, portraying the happiness at 0:33 . But unfortunately women at some point gotta do what society told them too, so the brunette gets married to a man she didnt want to, the man wearing a mask because he is every man and they dont care aboht hes identity. Whereas the blond decides to become a nun to be able to bave some kind of liberty away from men. The brunette must have done something bad like cheat on her husband or decided to divorce him and by doing so she is punished (like in ancient times).
I saw there was a blue rose at the beginning so I searched their meaning:

The spinning flowers, the scene of the nun grabbing the bride's dress to stop her from martyring herself and the red before she's about to be sacrificed all felt very Utena inspired

My theory: This unknown masked person is their 'God' and the blonde and brunette had a choice to become a nun or a sacrifical bride the brunette chose to be a bride while the other decided to be a nun, at some point the brunette girl wanted to back out but it was to late as she was chosen as the sacrifice the blonde girl tried so hard to help her get out of it but the brunette realised she couldn't do anything about it and told blonde girl she'll be just fine as said. On the day of the sacrifice the blonde girls trys to persuade the brunette to run away with her but the brunette is a big believer of their 'God' and so says again ill be just fine only to die being burnt. @@Crowzey560 She was likely conditioned to believe it was “necessary” and if these two were born and raised in the cult, the sacrificial bride didn’t know any different. She may have remained due to fear or a sense of duty, perhaps a mixture of both. Ancient civilizations did sacrifices very similarly, usually informing the victim beforehand and seeing that they are “made well” before they are sacrificed in order to please the deity.

Theory:
These two girls, blonde and brown, are very close friends, or more (as shown in 00:33 ) and are a part of a sacrificial cult. The leader annually chooses a bride to sacrifice. The so called "god" also managed to convince everyone that these sacrifices were beneficial to him and/or the members.
00:18 - We see blonde start to doubt this "god", yet brown is still faithful to the leader.
00:23 - 00:30 - We see the girls get separated, as blonde becomes a nun, and brown is choose as the "gods" next bride.
00:38 - 00:44 - Blonde tries to convince brown to call off the wedding, as the reality of what will happen to her finally sunk into blonde. Brown reassures blonde that this is her fait, and what she was chosen for.
00:50 - Blonde, out of options, begs for brown to stay, not wanting to lose her, but brown is stubborn and is set on her future.
00:54 - The sacrifice has begun, and is now unstoppable. ( All the girls in the background are smiling, further proving the point that they think this is a good thing.)
1:02 - Brown doesn't try to escape or struggle, truly believe this is for the better good. And that it is an honor to be "the chosen one"
1:10 - 1:34 - Blonde has no choice but to sit and watch her best friend die in front of her. She also seems to get flashbacks, wishing that she could have done more to prevent this from happening.
1:40 - Blonde is obviously mourning over browns death. While crying she hallucinates, thinking that brown is in front of her, she looks up only to see browns corpse. Blonde will forever be haunted by watching her friends die, and will (hopefully) rebel against the cult to avenge brown.

Pretty. Much is. Took great inspiration from the the recent one down to the theme and cinematic scenes. Its not a bad thing but it is obvious who they take inspiration of. It like the. RUclips animators with the domics, oddoneouts or jaiden animation art style, you'll instantly see how these younger artists/animator take inspiration/project their favorites in their artworks. At least people who know vivinos are able to connect the obvious reference, it nice to see how vivinos impacted some artists in their artworks.

I just stumbled upon this video after looking up the song being played with this and oh my god i absolutely love it!! The story about a dangerous and sacrificial cult and two girls being separated is clearly told through the visuals. I most especially love 1:05-1:20 as it beautifully shows the insanity of the cult (I love the distortions when it cuts to the brunette's expression as she burns). The abrupt cut to the burnt body at the end was the cherry on top of an otherwise already disturbing video and story. Overall, I really love the horror elements and the art style that complements it!

Fun fact: a pink rose is sometimes meant to show gratitude, romance, or grief. So when the supposed spirit of the brunette is giving the flower to the blonde, it means she’s either trying to say thank you for grieving me (both gratitude and grief combined), I love you, or all 3!
So what I infer is there is a cult, in this cult is the nuns, the god that that everyone seems to worship, and the sacrifices to the god( supposedly there brides for the god?) Anyway the sacrafice girl fell in love with the nun, the nun gets concerned about the sacrafice girl and the sacrafice girl says "she'll be just fine" but then she gets burnt at the stake. The nun is heart broken and at the end were we can see the girl burning, we see flashes of hands reaching up to the sky, almost like forgiveness or maybe even trying to give/ go there? This is my theory.

Theory:
Both girls are born within a cult in which all the women are split into equal number groups. For every girl that lives on dedicating their life to the cult god, there is a girl that must be live sacrificed. So half become nuns, and half become "brides". Milkbraids girl and twin-braids girl are lovers and have made an oath to each other, signified by the pinky promise. The oath might be something along the lines of "we'll always be together." Which, in the case that Twinbraids knew about the live sacrifice stuff but Milkbraids did not, Twinbraids probably used it to reassure Milkbraids that nothing bad happens to brides, and convince Milkbraids to remain safely as a nun within the cult. The greiving Milkbraids does do this even after Twinbraids' passing, but she is more trapped in the cult by their promise to stay together than remaining on her own volition. Milkbraids lives on but forever traumatized by the memory of her lover burning to death in front of her and tormented by the guilt that she may be part of the reason Twinbraids died so horribly.
This is a metaphor about society and how back in the day, and even present time in some cultures, in order to force them to conform, the only two options presented before a gay person from the day they were born were to either: A.) Never marry. Hide their feelings. Do nothing even when the one they love marries someone else. Watch helplessly at their love is dieing in front of them. Live on in suffering because of it. *or* B.) Marry someone of the opposite gender. Not out of love but in order to keep up appearances, usually marking the figurative and/or literal path towards self destruction. Figuratively as in the destruction of their sexual identity. Literally as in suicide due to an unhappy marriage and a sad life of never being true to theirselves.
This is the most accurate theory for me
As much as this is horrifying, it truly is a masterpiece. One of a kind.

My theory is that blonde set up the brunette. her guilt stricken eyes when she is praying at her grave seem more regretful than that of greif. i feel that their promise was something along the lines of being there for eachother until the end. i guess in a way, the blonde holds up this promise by being there witnessing the brunette's end. the blonde knows her fate, but the brunette doesn't fight it despite the constant begging and tugging of her friend. i feel that her reaching down with the pink rose at 1:42 was a flashback to when she says "ill be just fine". consoling her so that her friend can put the rose on her veil, and cutting to her dead corpse was symbolizing the way the blonde prepared her friend to die in the end.

Just found this today and OMG yup I'm subbing.
This is absolutely heart wrenching and beautiful! I absolutely loved the raw energy from this. It's elegant yet fucking brutal and I love how honest it is in those regards. Especially the part where the girl burns alive; gave me chills man. What's more brutal is that this kind of stuff happened. It's sad to think about, but I liked the relationship you portrayed for them.
Also, idk if they're lovers or not, but it gives me gay vibes so that's an extra bonus for me.:-3c ALSO! I really loved the RGU and Valerie references in there. I was pretty happy when it was mentioned in the description lol they're amazing pieces of media and RGU especially influences me a lot.

My theory is that the blond and brunette were in love, but the blonde was forced to become a nun and the brunette became a bride of sorts. I loved the animation and i think that the story was happening in the middle ages that have been known for burning women useally as they described them "witches" though i'm not sure if that's the case here but it still was beautifull and hartbreaking and the saddest part about this is that the blonde girl has no choice but to live withought her close one and also that it might have happened in real lide a long time ago or even not so long ago because us humans are a twisted spiecies and some of us are truly monsters
