The one thing I find funny about the Far Cry series Is that the most well equip your character is to the situation, the harder the game is For instance Far Cry 2 you play as a Mercenary, the situation can go from great to shit in 1 second In Far Cry 3 you play as a 1 percenter, a frat boy who has never held a gun before Single handily destroy a slave and drug operation, while dominating the wild
That is what make good Far Cry series. 1. Open world. That give you free will in how reach your objectives. 2. How difficult become when you have better weapons. 3. Have the stereotype protagonist. Obey orders from others starting as a wannabe boy to become literally the god of war reaching the end. Far Cry 2 is my favorite one. I never get tired playing, even with the annoying enemy respawn in every outpost, your weapon beging to break and the malaria disease attack. Also the Jackal is my favorite "antagonist/secondary character" in the series.
