- Far Cry 1 Complete Walkthrough - Level 19 (Dam) in 4K UHD, at 60FPS on the Realistic difficulty setting.

● Created by Crytek, published by Ubisoft.
Playing on the realistic difficulty changes the behaviour of the AI and their durability very early in the game. On any of the other difficulty settings, you would expect opponents with helmets only near the end of the game, instead you'll encounter them as early as in level 3 (Fort).
In short, you can expect enemy headshots to be one-hit kills (even with armor!), you take exponentially more damage upon body shots, allowing you to die in no more than three of four shots. Armor is key to survival, but ultimately provides almost no additional cover, being an extension of your healthbar rather than anything else.
Lastly, enemy AI will much more quickly resort to using different strategies, calling in additional help (armed helicopters, land vehicles, boats) and using 'smart' hiding spots and routes to flank you when multiple mercenaries are available.
► TIPS & TRICKS
Never run and gun on this mode, it means instant death even at the very first camp in the game.
Always pick up body armour. This is the case on every difficulty, but especially on realistic, as it marginally (but surely) decreases your visibility, and stops most body shots from ripping you apart in seconds.
Lay low and hide in bushes almost 100% of the time. Mercenaries will almost never notice you on sight when doing so, and allows you to sneak from any direction.
Use of the single-shot firing mode on the rifles in the game allows for precise shooting from further distances. Make good use of this on the realistic difficulty.
Land vehicles, like the jeep or buggy, and armed boats are your friends. They allow for easy kills from large distances with rockets and miniguns. In contratry, mounted miniguns on the ground are a death wish, avoid them as they generally expose you in wide-open areas.
Detonate most explosive barrels if you can, to eliminate multiple enemies at a time.
Avoid using your flashlight when possible, it is too noticeable. Use your binoculairs to register enemy positions, this is of extreme importance on realistic. Use smoke grenades and flashbangs in small corridors to easily ambush and kill multiple mercenaries.
The silencer MP5 and the shotgun are your best friends. Use these to silently take down enemies, or blast away the trigens.
Patience is everything. It's what, in the long run, will allow you to beat every level. Muscle memory is going to be of high importance, knowing most enemy spots beforehand can give you a huge advantage.
► LEVEL TIPS
The forelast level of Far Cry really took me by surprise the first time I came across it. After the cutscene from the previous level, you realise that you have only one weapon to deal with, and you're immediatly faced off against a monkey mutant. I had difficulty trying to avoid him, because at the time I never understood that enemies 'don't see you' when you're hiding inside the (abundant) amount of bushes. That's what actually the whole first part of Dam is all about: hiding from mutants, distracting them with the stone projectile, and silently making your way to the crashed helicopter.
Once you made it there, it's not too hard, although you'll have to be careful with your ammunition all the way up to the fortified wall, because you won't have much. Make sure to collect the rounds from the AR16's from the agile trigens before going up the hill.
By far one of the hardest segments will be at the bottom of the volcano, where fat boys and agile trigens are king of the hill (literally that is). You're gonna die, A LOT.
A last word of caution: At 15:21, this mercenary is ALWAYS there and cannot be shot from the top of the hill or from the bottom of the stairs. You will indeed only encounter him right there as you make your way up the stairs.

Very clever move that by throwing rocks u were distracting the trigens.Loved the video.Waiting for the next video.
on 2:01, Doyle says, "wiseass", not "why' asks". The captions did a pretty good job as this game didn't have any subtitles. Very sophisticated work, my man. 😊
2 years too late on my part 😅 Thanks a lot for the alert, I changed the subtitles accordingly 😉
For me this was the real Far Cry game.
same. each game afterwards has nothing to do with FarCry tbh
@@LethalKicks To say 2 and 3 weren’t is an overstatement
AGREED the other ones are poop
At this section on Realistic, I just baited the Trigen near me to drown themselves in the pool, as they insta-die when they reach any deep water. Made this section much easier, albeit it took a while.
Wait! Do you mean all you gotta do is go into the water and the mutoids will drown themselves? PLEASE==tell me more!
@@nickmitsialis Yup! Trigen can't swim, so all you have to do is bait them all to come near you and get them to drown. They're usually smart enough not to run into the water by themselves, but sometimes if a bunch of them get close together, some of them will get pushed into the water and drown. It's pretty funny.
@@gameragodzilla thanks! I wasn't to get all the knuckleheads to drown except for the fast ones--those lumbering dopes were too slow to catch me was I ran and got the P90 from the deceased SG1 trooper....
Or else, there is jumping point near the first trigen. You can take vehicle speeding it off and jumping from that point. It's the best way and easiest way to get at the other side without killing anyone.
@@tejasmasram406 There's a vehicle in that level?
I played this game without patches on Realistic. At the end I was losing my hair!!! Nice vid.❤🎉
Probably took me 20+ hours to finish this game.
The last two episode including this was really hard
@@Alex7.0.20+ for the game😂😂, the last 3 mission alone took more than 20+ hours for me on realistic 😅
@@patai5641 Hate when that happens, Is a little bit easier than halo 2 on Legendary though.
When I was a kid, I was afraid of the trigens af, so stood behind my father while he was trying to make all the trigens drown on the water at the begging of the level cuz he never knew what stealth is 😅
That time i was 7-8 yr old. My elder brother didn’t completed this mission bcse the pc didn’t had a gpu itself....so sad memory...miss those days
Great Video
man you are a good player
far cry is crazy.
I just shot trigen at start, jumped, and leaned to walls on left until river, then walked to copter.
Reminder: You have to shoot the heart gear of that rocketeer guy, he will pass out in no minute.
thnks. i was wasting time in head shots
nice vid
I know its been five years but did you switch the Rendering Options to "Paradise"?
Im unsure what looks best...."Normal" or "Paradise". "Improved" looks too greyish, "Cold" too of course. "Paradise" looks brilliant but maybe too much bloom.....
oh those were rocks...damn...im here thinking why my bombs arent exploding
Very good
How did you manage to make it so that those big guys with rockets don't see you in the section with the broken bridge? I'm stuck on it for the second day now, it's driving me nuts.
Did you find out? I'm playing it rn
@@Lukkka_0 Not sure what you mean exactly. If you're talking about this passage: 06:40 then you can hide from practically any enemy in the game by standing inside bushes (most foliage that is transparant and about the size of your character when crouching). It's an engine mechanic that hides your player model/position almost completely. It's basically an active mechanic for the majority of the game, except a few levels. You can even toggle it on or off inside the CryEngine if you go into the level files, but by default it's ON. So just hide inside any bush you find, and they will not know your exact location (they will charge you if you make noise or shoot of course).
nice brooo
I never passed this level though, when you go out to the field, its hard to reach the satellite.
MY ARM IS TURNING GREEN
Bravo

Can You please do a walkthroug of Half life after Far cry
I will see to it that I do!
Do you know there are lots of mods for Half life
Oh wow, so you could trick them, Trigens are even deadly on the easiest difficulty. And the best I could do is run.
Them monkey's can't swim. First time playin this I got tore a new one.
Can i play this on ps3
Yes You can, and it's remastered, is called Far Cry Classic
Wait there is no turtles
No, that's in Crysis 😄
A traigen rocket takes 1/3 of your total HP and you are not even wearing armor... I remember back in my days Far Cry on Realestic was a bit harder.
Fat Boy rocket damage has been broken in the official patch 1.4 from Ubisoft (long time ago). I installed a patch that fixed the broken A.I. shooting through tents, which also restored the original damage of the Fat Boy rockets as intended by the developers.
Also, the rocket damage is heavily dependent on the surface and angle it hits, which is why you can even get 0 damage despite the particle effect of the rocket being right at you, and sometimes it will insta-kill you (it had to do with displacements).
Install one of the latest patches which you can find on pcgamingwiki, it will improve your experience.
@@GamingRevenant the guy say its not realistic.....could be right
Wegen i Put the reselotiun in 4k,the textrues are gone
Install patch 1.4, then install the unofficial 1.4.1 patch as well to avoid the bug where enemies shoot through walls!
@@GamingRevenant okay thanks
How to download farcry 1 mobile
Far Cry 1 doesn’t exist on mobile. Only PC and xBox 360
no realistic realistic 7 ammo first battle
Cpt. Price yeah...
I just played this on realistic u get 10
A bit late to the party, but yea you start out with 10 ammo on realistic. I’m using *all* latest patches for Far Cry (including some unofficial ones that fix the AI looking through tents, and one that fixed water reflection and big boy mutant rocket damage and damage reflection, since it was broken by confirmation of Crytek at the time!).

First wooo

man you suck at this like really bad
This is not Realistic Mode... the damage in realistic Mode is very much stronger
The idea that every bullet in the game deals a full health bar damage is completely wrong. Just set the difficulty on realistic and you’ll realize that not every bullet hit by mercenaries or trigens will insta-kill you, let alone deal half damage.
There used to be a bug in the official 1.4 patch where A.I. shot through tents and as such dealt insane amounts of damage, because they could spray you from long distances. This was fixed in an unofficial patch (see pcgamingwiki), as well as some damage outputs by mounted vehicles. Other than that, you usually die almost instantaneously on realistic if you are very close to a mercenary with nothing blocking the LOS and you have no armour (usually two or three bullets is enough which is almost instantaneous on realistic).
With armor, however, you can take a few shots to the body without insta-dying.
So yes, this IS realistic and yes, I died many many times during my recordings from poor timings or too much damage. After every few recordings of the same level I eventually get to a point where I muscle-memory the enemy placements, timings and best routes to take or positions to abuse. In the video it may seem easy but as you play it’s really hard. I’m not going to show you the parts where I die, that would be a waste of your and my time.
This is in easy mode :)
It’s not 😉
