- Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this step-by-step video of my shawarma inspired chicken and rice bowls!
Prep starts at: 1:17- 2:48

Recipe:
Chicken Marinade
1.5-2 lbs Chicken thigh
1.5 tbsp yogurt
Juice 1/2 lemon
2 tsp mince garlic
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp all spice
Salt & pepper to taste
Rice:
2 cups basmati rice
3.5 cups water
1/2 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cumin
2 Cinnamon sticks
Salt to taste
White sauce:
7-8 tbsp plain Balkan yogurt
7-8 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp parsley
2 tbsp lemon juice (juice of half lemon)
2 tsp garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp salt
optional 3-4 tbsp water (to thin out sauce)

Agree, I don’t like the awkward and weird, and sometimes disgusting sound when they taste their food. I like short and clean ending. You have already emphasized all important points through the video, no need for a summary, people don’t like long videos with repeated info. That’s your bias projecting. She doesn’t have an accent but because you see the hijab you made an assumption without watching the video. I saw a bunch of her shorts and didn’t even know she was ethnic. Check yourself.
