As someone that has never cooked full meals and meat in my entire life, I made this and it turned out to be so delicious. Thank you for making me fall in love with cooking ❤️
The flavor in this dish is phenomenal! I made pita, and toum also-super fun! Made it for many foodies who all said it was better than anything they’ve had in restaurants, and we live in an urban, gourmet food area. Every element was fun to make and just bursting with outstanding flavor. One of the best dishes I’ve ever made, and not expensive, but easy! Thank you so much!
Little hack for ppl who are short on time, if you are going to traders joes to get that garlic sauce go ahead and pick up the chicken schwarma thighs. It is pretty good. Then you can just make the rice and white sauce. ☺️
I made this a few hours ago. I was looking for a good rice recipe for an hour and landed here. Your recipe for the rice was my fave. For my rice..I added tablespoon of garlic paste, four cloves and one teaspoons of onion powder from another recipe I saw. I didnt have chicken broth. But I had the knorrs chicken powder from Costco. And I used cumin powder instead. Following 1:2 water ratio. I honestly think it was the best rice I've had in a very very long time. The restaurant near me had the best food for miles. But ownership changed and the food went downhill. The food was put in smaller trays and was seasoned wayyyy too much. Sometimes it would be too dry and too salty. So I stopped going. I decided to start making my own. And I can honestly say nothing beats home-cooked food like this. Im so happy I found your video. I had never seen another ethnicity, besides Mexicans, fry their rice before adding other things. It made me happy because then I realized that the rice you made is not much different from the rice my people make. It made me so happy to see that. 10/10
I cooked this recipe for 4th July holiday. It came out nothing but perfect. It's one of those recipes when you eat and your heart silently says thank you! My heart gave you blessings for sharing this recipe with us. I shared it with my neighbor and they loved it too.
More food recipes, please! My son made this in his school and now he wants to make it for his family. He sent me this so I can get the ingredients for him. Now I want to make it for myself too! ❤❤❤
Hi Moribyan, Thank you for this recipe! I made it last night when I had some chicken breast I had to use up, and most of the ingredients except sumac, fresh garlic/garlic spread. It came out delicious! My annoyingly picky husband and I got second helpings and I also packed his lunch today with the leftovers (and he never takes a packed lunch)! Thank you! Saved this recipe! ❤️❤️❤️
Looks amazing! Cant wait to try. Would really appreciate it if you left the text on screen for a bit longer (and/or add text anytime an ingredient makes an appearance). Thanks!
Thank you for the feedback! Definitely will try 🤍 if you’re having trouble, maybe pause it and screenshot. There’s also a link to the written recipe in the bio. Hope that helps!
Hello sis, I just found your channel and I love Arabic food. I'm trying your recipe today and I can tell it's going to be amazing from the smell of the marinade. Shukran ❤️ I love the sumac in it but want to know what to use for sauce in place of the garlic spread? Just garlic I hope 😂
Absolute BEST Halal Guys copycat recipes on the internet tysm! I did ground chicken meatballs instead and had Naan with mine and it was a hit! I am so excited to wake up and have this for leftovers tomorrow. The sauce OMG was heaven. Thanks again😋
Sallam Moribyan thank you so much for sharing your amazing recipes please can you write in the description below your 4 sauces recipe which you recently shared as I really like them and of course all your other recipes which you share as it's easier to make. Thank you so much and duas for you.
Making this right now, I saiteed my rice 1st and threw in the rice cooker so I don't have to babysit it. The sauce is good, reminds me of an ranch dressing with some different spices
I am going to make it this coming week, looks awsome. Can't wait to taste it. I am from the Netherlands, so i was wondering what is allspice? something like ras el hanout?
I have been making your recipes for months. My kids love this dish. I have to order my toum off Amazon. I LOVE the sauce. I am curious if anyone else thinks it tasted like ranch. My kids always ask if I csn make the chicken with the ranch sauce. I didn’t realize that it had a similar flavor until they said it. Anyone else think this?
We went recently, pretty sure he uses chicken breast. The meat was also bright red, I'm guessing from kashmiri chilli powder or Paprika. Definitely nothing like shawarma, but delicious none the less!
Update: it tastes exactly like our local halal food truck!! Omg it was excellent! Shared your recipe with my coworkers that used to love the truck for our lunch!
What can you sub for the Toum garlic spread as I can’t find this anywhere Also do you need the Sumac, if you dont have it does it take away from the Halal taste Love your food!
I hope this message receives you well. I noticed the youtube video shows 1 Tbls of all spice and your website shows 2 Tbls of all spice. Which should we follow?
Heyy I wanted to thank you for showing us the desert date with peanut butter and chocolate covered everyone enjoyed it and they were impressed of course I had to give you the credit 😂 ♥️ ♥️ plus I tried the rice but kept uncovering it my bad lol😅!

Love the recipe! If you voiceover the Ingredients/spices as you add them, it becomes easier to follow while cooking.

Yes sis! More high protein foods.. preferably chicken recipes.. ☺️💪
Hey!!! Gotchu 🤗
You must be a meathead juicer who says bro a lot. High protein diets aren't good but smart people know that

My kids always ask if I csn make the chicken with the ranch sauce. I didn’t realize that it had a similar flavor until they said it. Anyone else think this?
Also I’ve tried a few butter chicken recipes and yours is by far the easiest and best tasting!
If you don’t mind me asking where are you originally from ? Would love to learn your traditional recipe!
