I'll second what you said. It takes a lot of effort to make it sound so easy. Practice, practice, practice. That separates the novices from the pros. Having such a blend as these four certainly helps too.
Warpaint is absolutely my favorite band, and there are some great similarities between these 2 groups besides the obvious ones. One thing that jumps out at me immediately is that both groups have outstanding rhythm sections. For my money Stella and Jenny are maybe the best drums/bass combo out there, but Marian and Lena of La Luz are outstanding in their own right.
I’m just now getting intu La La Luz , and I can’t shake the feeling that they’re Hawaii reinterpreted Slayer songs , what tipped me off was the riffs , I can’t determine which ones tho la lolz . Either way I’m here for it !

The sound is something out of the 1960's, which is cool...beautiful voices too.
