"fuck, what is the next one?" always a mood, Dave.
I appreciate the fact that Dave did what he wanted on the record rather than just what the fans want. It really comes across in the feel of the music. Not that they didn’t do what the fans wanted lol
Most people want them to make the same record over and over. They wanted something out of the first 4 albums, then complain that they sound generic. Really glad they made this record.
I wonder what the other guys thought, we don’t seem to get their ideas much ...
Me too!!! Thank god they are still progressing and evolving as a band.
When did Chris Delia join?
@@riffhousestudios96 lmfaooo that’s Rami Jaffee from the Wallflowers and Foo Fighters. He’s the keyboardist.
I thought he sounded more like Joaquin Phoenix
Going through a lot + Covid. Only my yoga classes and the Foo Figthers seem to make me happy. Thanks for the music, guys.
Sounds so much like Let's Dance at times. Awesome!
Favorite song on the album.
The first time I heard this song it did give me mega bowie let’s dance vibes, 🔥
Same! 💯👍🏼💗
Except David Bowie could pull it off.....
@@j2martnz348 David bowie is David bowie, foo fighters isn’t him? So your comment isn’t necessary:)
@@Abi-gx3qh Well ...seeing how they cited DAVID BOWIE as an influence on the record! Yeah ...it is kinda necessary .
@@j2martnz348 doesn’t change the fact the album is good tho ☺️
The guitar solo on this song is killer
Yes it sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Yes! Stand out
Giant Let's Dance reference
That’s Chris on lead 🎸 🤘
southern rock baby!
I was just listening to this driving home today and thought to myself this is very Bowie
I said the same thing! Bowie influence for sure.
Good for Dave
❤️ FF
GREAT freaking album. Such a joyous surprise.
I already imagine when the shows are back to normal, how will all these songs played live by you. It will be a beautiful madness. I'm even creepy 😁😁😁
"We don't already have two of the best drummers in the world in the band so we gotta bring you in". It made me laugh.
Chris Delia is hilarious here
@@riffhousestudios96 😂😂
@@riffhousestudios96 he does look like Chris lol

True, there is a part in there that sounds EXACTLY like someone singing in my bathroom.
EDIT: It sounded like someone who actually knows how to sing, singing in my bathroom
I really like this album.
Brasil ama vocês 💙🇧🇷
I love the spooky keyboards!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
A song that really is stretching the "Foo Fighters" sound...cool stuff!
I really love that record, so unexpected and sooooo good
I love this song.
It's got an "Abracadabra - Steve Miller Band" vibe...
Yesss! I said that when I first heard the snippet!!
@@stephseb29 Yes!!! It totally does!
Dave is so kind I love him so much❤❤
"I just wanted to boogie"
-Dave Grohl 2021
As soon as it started I went, "Total Roxy Music" vibe! ❤
Best song on the album.
Dave, I don't know if you read these, but I had to comment as soon as you said Omar Hakim! I started following him as soon as I first heard and saw him play with Sting on his first solo album after the Police, specifically on Bring on the night documentary. He blew me away and I wanted to go see Sting live just to see him play. I never got the chance, but always followed him after that, and even started watching him on a late night show David Sanborn had around that time, late 80's, early 90's. I'm only 11 months behind you in age, and I have to say, I'm living vicariously through you! You had the dream, made it happen, and you get to jam with the bands you grew up with! That's pretty cool in my book! Your a great musician, you have an awesome band, and I always look forward to hearing what you come out with next! Keep rockin Man!
Wow, this was fucking beautiful! I love how Pat's smile of enjoyment! Taylor was just playing out of his fucking mind! Dude! "Foo Figh'es!" (read it like Christopher Walken)
I get a Roxy Music “love is the drug” vibe
Are you telling me Taylor records to those weird cowbell patterns? What a madman
Last two tracks save the album for me.
best chorus in the album
Oh my God... I keep thinking David Bowie every time I listen to this album. I love that it's a different style.
It's true..a band that compels you to dance is quite a feat. 👍🏼
🤘🤘
Chasing birds I like a lot it has a little bit of a Beatles vibe.
Rami is great but I sometimes wonder since they made him a fully involved member of the band that they originally found him in the woods, shaved him down and taught him to speak. Or he reminds me in Woody Allen’s ‘Sleeper’ of the part near the beginning where they first woke him up after a 200 year sleep…
Stoner's gonna sound like a stoner.
I didn't realize how funny the are until now lmfaooo
Foo Fighters could orchestrate anything it wants..... 🤔
Respect for the tambourine.
Bowie vibe for sure.
What studio are they at?
Very good album, will like to by the special LP here in Quebec, the shipping is over the price of the LP, no sens
Holy shit that “Pew!” Is Pat’s guitar??? I coulda sworn it was keyboards! I love the flair Pat adds to songs like this, Making a Fire, and the Sky is a Neighborhood. He brings a great jagged color opposite Chris’ clean color
When did Matt Cameron join the Foo’s? Only joking.
New album?
Tony Thompson (RIP) played drums on Let's Dance. Dave should've known better.
Dave is kinda insecure that people think that the album is bad so he keeps on giving excuses to try to make people understand the album. Bro it's a cool album, it's defitnely diferent, and that's good because if all your albums sound the same you just don't evolve.
It's not excuses he literally said on Jimmy Fallon since people make fun of how much if a dad is he said he might as well make a dad rock album
I swear Dave plays drums on this song?
He definitely achieved making "no good stuff" on the album but yet here I am still watching this. I don't dance I guess.
This is the only one of the album that did not do it for me... until that solo came. SRV can fix everything
Haha same exact SRV tone and solo style from Let's Dance obviously
Bathroom reverb... Poo Fighters? Maybe
I think David Grohl should re-release the colour and shape with Williams drum tracks
Nah
😂
Why? Dave’s version IS what he envisioned and wanted us to hear. William was subpar (to Dave’s ear); and up to that moment, Dave WAS FF to our ear. His creation was still forming, and Dave couldn’t release an album that wasn’t up to his own standard...just to spare the feelings of a collaborator.
Is Patt gay?
@Dude Sweet really
no, ive read hes not. And i saw him on TMZ with his wife.
rumored bi.
@@thingamajacky defo takes it up the wrong-un
Epitome of a sell out
They shouldve just been honest and said the whole album is trash
it sucks
This album is mediocre at best, as a rock album. They're having to say they recorded it in a haunted house to make it more interesting.
