If you raise the minimum wage the coast of living will go up. Companies will need to raise their prices to afford the increased wages, so what does it help? If the minimum wage is raised to $15.00 our loafs of bread will go from $4.00 a loaf to $7-$8 a loaf and so on and so on. Those of us on fixed incomes will be screwed trying to keep up.
The left doesn't understand economics.
Companies need to adjust their profit expectations down 15% and be done with it. Corporate greed is causing the problem, not people wanting decent wage for their efforts. Ma'am, you need to readjust your thinking on who is the bad guy here. I am on fixed income also. Good luck to you.

Most of these youngsters can't remember that a brand new showroom floor Camaro, was under $4000.00 in 1968 when minimum wage, was around $3.10 per hour. Inflation always outpaces higher wages. The more you make, the more you'll pay.
My father enjoyed a matinee, a soda from the fountain shop, and would pick up a loaf of bread to take home, every Saturday, ON A DIME.
People need to learn to work smarter and harder because the USA has been falling behind for decades. REAL Education, and REAL Skills, combined with REAL Productivity, is what will bring us back to higher standards of living, NOT Higher Minimum Wage. /JMO
