I actually don't mind Borg Tower not being here. It deserves to be it's own large set, not a smaller building off to the side like the Borg store is.

Gardens is just so beautiful, and I love it. The markets is really cool, but I honestly prefer the Gardens. City is very good, but I’ve always found City’s colours very dull, anyone think that too? Docks is amazing but mid compared to the other sets.
Duckbricks…the Lego community wants to know: What else can you flush?! Looking forward to the “Can we flush it?” series.

Just my opinion of course. But I like and will definitely pick up this one to pair with the others.
32:49 the star logo is a reference to Lego Friends 2015, the pop star range. Livi the pop star had that star shaped logo. Its rly cool to see old lego friends represented in a non minidoll theme !!!
I felt something was off with Cyrus Borg - then I realized his legs should be grey instead of black. Can’t complain, still thankful we finally got the figure after so many years.

One teeny tiny detail you missed was in the 24/7 shop on the inside of the removable wall there is a painting of what looks like nya in her water dragon form from seabound (s15)

Hi, for me this looks like a filler set for someone that has the other modular sets. The other 3 sets are much more displayable as entities on their own. You could have the gardens and it would look amazing and nothing else or even the docks on its own very presentable. Personally this set only looks really impressive when it is located next to the other sets. That is what is lacking for myself is that if you just had markets and nothing else it would not look as good as the others.
So hyped for this wave!
I love how there's a poster for Jay's mech almost directly in front of his biological father's movie poster
I wonder if the bedroom at around 47:00 could be Jay's and/or Nya's? There's the pic of what kinda looks like Nya (one of Jay's paintings from Crystalized???) and the pink thing kinda looks like a train from some angles. The blue bedding is also a dead giveaway, though I'd say it's more of Nya's blue than Jay's, plus I feel like we see that sorta water looking pattern on Nya often. They've been yin and yang for a while so??? Shared bedroom??? Compromise??? He got to decorate the place but Nya chose the bedding lol.

Also in the area where the Atlantis sticker is located, the frame of the ad for Jay's titan mech and the big arched sign use red and lime green, two main colors of the Atlantis theme

The red references is not really from duplo, as far as I know, but it seems to reference Clifford the giant red dog.
The pie sticker actually says “snow berry pie”
I think if the put the tower, bridge and shops at the front and cable car in the back it would feel more complete, or a large tree that held up the bridge and had a canopy over the market.
The bridge on the first floor looks a bit empty. It would be better if they replaced the flowers with trees , lampposts or a huge ad billboard to fill up the space.
Also looking forward to the customized Fallout Nick Valentine minifigures for those Zane pieces.

While that would be funny, there is actually another one in the original Ninjago City set. The one in that set does not have a function though.

I think the set is pretty cool and has a good price per piece value but in some places it just doesnt really feel like a 370$ set. The minifigures are amazing though and the flush function from the toilett XD

I agree that the set looks strange by itself, but I made a mock up and think it looks amazing in between City and Gardens! Would love to see it actually connected. Markets' buildings suddenly become a coherent part of the other two sets (I don't include Docks, because I don't think it goes well with it), with the gap in the middle giving both contrast and symmetry to the whole thing, making it look like one massive, incredible set.
I suspect City -> Markets -> Gardens will be THE popular layout, but I'm really really curious how the sets interact together, for instance whether the elevator to Borg's office could also allow access to the rear walkways of Gardens.
I think the best way is this the city docks gardens and markets

Oh my ..😊the brown stund s flushing down the toilet is funny as. And. No I'm Shaw ..poo in the water is fish. Food for them. Unless their was lots of poo. Going into the water. Then it might be bad. Thing. But. Just a little poo every now and then .ain't nuthing major. As in same water way s. Hear. .waste from house drain s. Flow s into the river water way then out into the sea. Yeep .but. I'm glad they are not doing the Borg tower. That building is ugly. I made my own MOC Ninjago tower that's taller than city gardens and the design is way better than Borg tower. besides I think the days of glorifying Tech Giants like say Elon Musk are over. Pay your taxes and stop passing state laws that say "you and Jeff Bezos will not be sued if any of your rockets kill anyone." There isn't any need for a Borg tower and besides the buildings in this set are a way better design anyway.
