The problem with the 荔 word in Lai King and Lai Chi Kok was actually a technical error that got stuck. When the line was constructed they outsourced the printing of signs to a Japanese company and they used Japanese Kanji variant of 荔 when they printed it. Somehow it was decided not to correct this mistake and it got stuck since
Wonderful video and happy memory for me, as I was involved in the construction of both the Kwun Tong line and the Tsuen Wan line between 1976 and 1982. I think you will find that the platforms at Admiralty are so large because of the large V-angle between the alignments of the TWL and the ISL. They are much wider at the east end than at the west end. As you probably know, beneath the TWL platforms at Central - even more hidden! - lie “Chater Sidings”, three stabling and turn-back sidings connected to both the TWL and ISL.
3:02 The potential health hazard of Kwai Chung Park was eliminated years ago, however there was a land-use licensing issue and part of the park was converted into a cricket pitch and semi-opened to the public. Members of the Kwai Tsing District Council are now working to make the park fully open to the public.
I want to know that why did you said all the stations on the Tsuen Wan Line are in Urban, but why did you said Tai Wo Hau is in the New Territories since you said that every station in the Tsuen Wan Line are in Urban?
