  • What is Teshuvah? What is real repentance? Let's look at it from the original Hebrew perspective and how can it truly impact your relationships with both God and others. Most people have been taught a very watered-down version of repentance that is not quite what the Bible actually teaches. In this week’s message, the true depth of repentance is revealed and you will be left with a simple 4-step protocol of how to make things right with both God and man.

Part of this reminds me of John 3:20 it reveals the devils ultimate goal in deceiving people, it’s really frightening to realize he wishes to deceive those into hating the light or resenting the idea of returning to it, just as he did. Praise the Lord, who protects us from this terrible fate of spiritual death.

Wow, I have been so mad at my husband I have been blind to my bad attitude and anger and unforgiveness toward him. I love what you are saying about just dealing with your own sin and being honest with those who have hurt you. I need to listen to this weekly! Great message, Jim!

Hello, recent subscriber here, going through your past videos. I read Psalm 27 as suggested. For me, Psalm 51 has always been my go-to conviction psalm that leads me in teshuva. Shalom, dear Brother.

I think this month of ELUL
Dedicated to introspection and connection is appropriate to describe the loving and closed relationship with our GOD and us. And the sound of SHOFAR awakens our soul and psalm 27 gives us the strength to look inside and restore closeness with our CREATOR. So we can be a better version of ourselves.
And this message you gave us is conducive to us .
    Thank you brother.
    Shabbat shalom.

Repentance is often accompanied by recognition of a mistake or wrongdoing, and a desire to make amends or make amends for what has been done. It can be the result of one major action or a series of small events, and can last over a long period of time.

I did things to other people when I was a child that haunt me to this day. I am so sorry. I am 70 years old. I am single and never had a relationship with a woman to marry. My seed is corrupted. I have repented. I cannot go to these people to make amends. How do I confess if they don't exist. How did my sin effect the blood line of the person I sinned against. The Power of Teshuvah.

Some relationships cannot be fixed because it takes two! I could not stop a willful women from carrying out her definition of how it should be. She advised by 2 councilors of an appropriate action on was a Christian councilor they both were totally separate facilities but echoed verbatim their advice she quit each time they gave advice. So not every relationship can be fixed.

    Repent,
And be Baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ,
And you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
Jesus taught His. Disciples and Peter taught it on the day of Pentecost
Salvation is of the Jews and we must follow what they taught by the Holy Spirit. Done any other way is error.

Repentance: God taught us what Godly repentance is in two ways. BOTH must be present for the remission of sins.
1- Exodua 32: changed his mind
2- Genesis 6:6 God was grieved.
So man must be grieved for the sin and change his mind and turn from the sin. Without BOTH of those examples, there can be no forgiveness.

I was told that for me to repent from being married to a divorced man, I had to break up my family. Even though his first AKA “covenant wife” was having an affair and THEN she married the man and had 3 kids. I was told that I was gonna go to hell because I was with another woman’s husband.

Don't listen to those people sister! That is not how the Torah works, don't destroy your family. We live in a broken society, the rules can't apply in the same way. Plus! Even in Torah times guys were allowed to marry other women, it was usually the women who couldn't do that back then.

Stay away from toxic Torah police!! 🚨 They might sound holy but that way of applying the scriptures on others is evil! Aside from your parents and official authorities, people's opinions are just that... Their opinions! At best their personal convictions, that doesn't mean they have to be yours. You can read the Bible and get your own too

Repentance is the wrong and a very poor choice word and the real word is "Return" Hebrew word Tshuva; one could not bring a sacrifice to the temple for forgiveness of their sin unless they first did a "return to right path", there was no sacrifice for continued willful disobedience, but yet people in the church think they can get away w a simple I believe in Jesus therefore I'm saved. It's really a bad joke, but the real joke is on them who continue in their sinful ways and choose not to grow in righteousness and in the instructions of the Creator!

Finally! Someone agrees with what I’ve been saying for years. They willfully twist what scripture says about calling on his name saves them. If you call on his name in belief, BELIEVE EHAT HE SAYS.This is why MANY will be turned away from heaven hearing DEPART FROM ME. I never knew you.
