Ha-ha, "it made it home in one piece! " sounds very funny🤣 this is really a great event for old cars to reach the destination and back without a breakdown sometimes, fixing them up to a sound and reliable condition takes time and effort, mostly the lack of enthusiasm is the most essential! Personally I've been lucky to get almost a brand new Lada 11113 "Oka" Last August, it had only 3750km of total run, the body and the cabin were like brand new too, it was produced in 2006 and spent 15 years in a garage. And I had a month to spend before it managed to come come back in one piece without friendly towing :) now I use it every day, it has already 18000km 🏃💨.
Thumbs up and great job on the little one. I also noticed that the dent in the right side is now missing and the paint looks polished along that side now. Cheers OLDDUDE
