- It's a very special drive home Rico Brogna with Evan Roberts as we celebrate episode 300. The Mets are back to .500 as Jose Quintana pitches another gem, Nimmo and Lindor the two all-star snubs go deep, and the bullpen still stinks.

Alonzo the allstar went 0 for 4, must be groundhogs day😮
“Stick Brett Baty at 2nd base” Evan you can’t be serious. 2nd base defense is important, you can’t just “stick Baty at 2nd base” when you’re trying to win games.
He played third base brilliantly. He's been working on second in Syracuse. Give him a shot; he's a better roster spot than DJ Stewart is.
Ottavino absolutely has to be the first one to go
Alonso wants a bag okay give him a empty one.
LGM May God be with this bullpen 🙏
I would’ve kept Lucassey and DFAd Ottavino
Dude looks like he’s being put into a cop car in the thumbnail. Just talkin Mets while being arrested
No. Not weird. Didn’t want to waste. LFGM!!!!😊
No enjoy it brother LGM LOVE THE SHOW I called it in the beginning of this season that the Mets needed to swap Nimmo and Lindor
You never called that.
Lucky 🍀 Lugie
This mets team almost blow another game but this team needs to go 6an0 homestead 50win 45 lost Phil Maton nice pick time to be a shark at home feast bottom feedin team back home crowd pump win another shaky panic game tomorrow let go Rico I mean mets safe drive
Alonso is pretty much 2014/15 Lucas Duda right now. Duda might have been better and Pete wants the big money.
Evan, you should hook up with Joey B. at least one night a week podcast, for the folks
Joe is all emotion, no brains. I prefer Evan's cerebral approach.
Why have they not moved Baty to left field already.Thats the softest spot on the diamond, not second base..
Because he's an infielder?
@@jimwerther hes a terrible infielder.but he has played left field in the minors. So why not try that in order to get his bat in the lineup..
@@germantorres8685
Did you not watch Baty with the Mets this year? He completely turned around his defense, to the point that he was playing an absolutely brilliant third base. Alas, his bat couldn't keep up.
@@jimwerther it could be possible that his defense has improved granted. But right now i do not believe with vientos here thats an option for him at the moment. We could use another lefty bat in the lineup..
@@germantorres8685
Wow, you really haven't been watching this year.
Baty's defense was absolutely stunning, but his bat, which started out hot the first couple of weeks, soon gave up the ghost. Vientos, who'd been an absolute butcher at 3rd before this year, has improved his defense to the point where he is no longer a liability, although he is hardly Mr. Smooth out there. His bat had been terrific until he stopped hitting the last couple of weeks, which hopefully is only a slump, nothing worse.
Rumor has it that Francisco Lindor spent much time and effort during the offseason with both Baty and Vientos helping them learn to play a better third base.
If the Mets want to turn their season around must to be up to 500 of 5 or 6 games instead, they are up and down 500 but don't move from this number. By the way, trade Alonso right now he is completely unnecessary to this team and he has zero impact.
BATY is not agile enough to play 2b.
I feel like he can only be marginally worse than DJ Stewart in left field.
Yeah, let’s not sign Alonso for Soto, who wants to walk every other at bat, or every at bat. You people are clueless. I’ll take the banger Alonso. And Soto will play the mets to sign a bigger contract with the skanks
Your takes make no sense. Lol
Lindor was hitting .193 on May 20. Lindor hit .177 from May 1 to May 18. Stop with it was only April crap.
He started the year 1 for 31. After that he was fine
@@noahmets Lindor hit .177 from May 1 to May 18. That's why we use stats and not opinions.
@@jamesbuckley8917 Wow, he had a bad two weeks? That's totally unprecedented.
Here are the facts; Lindor went 1 for 31 in the first 8 games of the season. Since then - April 7th - these are his numbers: .274/.335/.494, 16 home runs, 26 doubles, 60 runs scored, and 47 RBI in 82 games. That is the entire season minus 8 games!
Lemme guess, this guy threw 70 pitches lol. A starter reliever, a reliever starter? I’m confused. Wfan can’t use this, it’s copyrighted. my comments here been recently plagiarized on wfan. Not you Evan, just the so called talent on wfan that are hostile to the Mets and don’t have the time to watch the Mets to contribute thoughtful dialogue
Lol! I'm sure the FAN talk show hosts come here to read your comments before starting their show 🤦♂️
@jimwerther he's delusional?
@@user-yg9sc6gc1r
Sure seems that way. Do you think so?
@@user-yg9sc6gc1r
Could well be. Is that your take?
