Camille is a good counter but baus can fight that if he only has to worry about her cc.
Yeah Alistar basically made Sion passive useless which is like the strongest part of his kit in teamfights

That Alistar was nightmare for Baus. He couldnt do anything. Almost solo killed blade in 3 items spike but Ali came to save the day (again).

Well to be completly honest Baus was playing vs hard Counter + enemy jg and supp 24/7. Still manages to do much in this match eventhough he couldnt do anything in passive form because of Alistar. Baus is the real winner here for me

The baus felt like his sion is so respected that he now has to deal with a global taunt when he's in the side lanes. But they had so much cc that his deathmode wasn't effective once he got behind.

Doesn't make any sense. Doesn't matter how much HP you have 12% HP is 12% HP. Divine Sunderer is a broken item, especially on Camille. Even full lethality you're not going to beat Camille in 1v1.

this was impressive to watch from both sides actually the way blade was fully prepared as usual to face this niche playstyle and the way thebaus tried his best to play around it you could tell they both knew what they were doing

Wp to both I guess? I dont really care who wins or losses I just like watching the baussffs. His playstyle is very unique how he is feeding but still not that far behind in terms of gold and exp. Thats very impressive as not many people can do that.
Yeah and his champ legit is bad he loses vs all meta tops i really like how he outplays pretty good players alot to win these hard match ups.

He didn't feed. If you take a close look you might noticed he got ganked 7 times.

I feel like the reason why the Baus is entertaining to watch and climbs well is because of how it seems like he's behind, but he's rarely behind in gold and xp, usually being one of the highest in the game, and also consistently dishes out damage.
It kind of reminds of how T1 is playing this year, with many slow starts, but besides a couple games, T1 was never behind in gold or xp. Always ahead in the macro.
Well he was playing the weak side with 0 help from the team, while Camille got all the help from start to finish. And Camille was still behind in CS. Just unlucky, better team wins🤔🤔🤔

Liking the map cover on a replay m8, really enhances the experience and makes it more immersive.
They knew what the Bauss was going to do and the enemy team worked well to counter him. Then Blade had the better late-game team comp.
Still impressed by how close the game was.
the enemy team didn't counter his strategy, they just counter picked his teams champs. They still sent 3 or 4 people to the Baus many many times. That isn't countering his strategy that is what he wants. They just had a better team comp that wasn't winnable against with nidalee and twisted fate

the reason why baus can take gromp while tfblade is pushing the wave is because hes scared of the sion bush Q, so he doesn't just hard shove it since baus can pull a freeze or bait a gank with his jg. It's also just better to slow push waves most of the time in top lane but yea sion having the Q out of vision threat definintely helps give him time
This game was 4 challs + grandmaster ( TF Blade team) vs 1 Chall, 3 Grandmasters and 1 masters (Bauss). HUge discrepancy in LP.
Yetjg n mid didf wasn't big and babus got the massive bot diff. These are my fav two streamers not roasting but if babus goes gragas he'll ttilt blade

Yeah, this game the Sion vs Camille matchup was a problem, but that was not what caused him to lose so hard. When Baus gets rekt in lane, even if he dies again and again he keeps up in terms of cs and exp, but this game Viego and Alistar caused him to lose everything and die without getting anything, that's why he was so behind and couldn't do anything. I don't know if those guys knew how his gameplay worked or if Tfblade begged them to camp top, but that was the play that made them win.
I mean bot lane was the weak side so they obviously gonna play in the winning side to balance it out cus that samira was so feed
Not really , sions team got a huge lead bot and won mid , it’s just that Camille made the Samira useless and also recked sion in side lane prio , because of that Camille managed to get to fights earlier in the mid game .
And keep in mind that this was 4v5 until late game because the zeri was useless .

10:28 huge mistake from Babus here. Given how Zeri is 0/7 and he is also 0/6 means they both give barely any gold, so I'm like 99% sure it's way more worth to just int into tower and try to 1 for 1, but even if it's 1 for 0 she gets gold reset and can't play anymore like Baus plays. She went on to die a lot more times during the game which would have resulted in a lot more gold for Baus's team. And even if she starts playing safer she would at least miss more side lane farm trying to do so. Like Baus got a gold reset for himself for 100 gold basically AND lost flash to Ali, very surprised it even happened tbh

Had the same thought watching the game, like I get that it's a high elo game but damn!
The best pick into TheBaus on Sion seems to be carry toplaners like Fiora, Camille, Riven, Gwen and Irelia, champions that usually have a bit sussy early lane but can completely take over if they get a lead. If you pick earlygame champs, squishy carries or tanks into Sion, it doesn't matter how fed you get, you wont be able to carry or if you're playing a squishy carry(Jayce, Vayne, GP, Akshan etc.) you wont be able to sidelane into a lethality Sion later on.
Jayce destroys Sion on every angle and if u fed him it's gg. Just better champ that don't need much to be good at but takes some time to master. As i watch Babu's and see his jayce matchups is almost always lost game if he doesn't get babysitted top.

@@lukasengdahl4492 They are super strong if they get a lead, which is why they are so popular picks in high elo for toplaners, you can do a lot more if you get ahead on Riven and Fiora than if you get ahead on Darius, Sion or Malphite.
Their early lane is still sussy, just as their matchups can snowball in their favor, they can quickly become very useless when behind. Darius' ult still deals over 1k true damage if you get 5 stacks, Malphite still has one of the best ults in the game, no matter if he is 0/10, likewise Sion is still gonna be a tank with 5k health or lament towers if he is 0/10.

I think the inting zeri negated the gold that an inting sion can accumulate
12:15 the reason baus has a shutdown and blade dont is not only because of the things midbeast says. It is true that he got some kills and plates after being 0/6 and therefore getting a shutdown, but blade and Viego doesn't have a shutdown cuz it balances off enemy average player, and when they have the samira who is 8/0 at the moment they are just a little ahead compared to the enemy average, but not enough to get a shutdown
There's no way that Zeri is an ADC main. Played that like an autofilled support.
The Zeri is actually a pro player
He died a couple times early and then got dove like 7 times lol. I think he was actually smart for matching Sion in the inting strat. If Baus is free to take an inhib when he splits it's a different story but by pushing these waves even though dying was the price to pay, this Zeri made the Sion inting strat harder.
Former KT academy, now on a Japanese team. ADC main famous for 3 pentas as a rookie. He was 0/11/0 at one point in this game. Blade has unreal luck with teammates inting him.

There must be such a strange confliction of feelings being Baus's teammate. On one hand he takes all the pressure which frees up your lane, but on the other hand he's probably going to die a minimum of 10 times lmao. The W is all that matters in the end.

He really has identified and cracked some of the core mechanics of League and figured out an interesting way to play. I hate watching it though.
I think I would be fine watching it if it wasn't for the bounty system exploit. It's a good idea for the game in my opinion, but the bounty system makes it so his bad deaths aren't really punished. Remove the bounty system and the strat still works for Baus, but players with worse macro can't abuse it. I don't really like it as well as it feels like the funneling system with Yi and Taric or back when Kai'sa funneling mid was a thing even in pro play. Or a stronger oversight then the short roaming support top strat.
I love watching baus tho, his unique playstyle makes it really worthwhile. I think I just like watching a 0/6 sion destroy a fed top laner

Well played to this streamers hairline. Yeah it got knocked back a bit in early game, but he told his Barber he liked it, so now he's scaling into a more even and healthier looking hairline in the late game.
