    I have this guitar. I love it. It is equally good to my US and Mexican strats. The PUs are very good, I really like the sound.
    Way to go Vintage.

    I've had this guitar for three years now. Overall it's been great, as said in the video the guitar stays very well in tune even when you dig in with the tremolo arm. The neck is fast and smooth and it's a very good weight and balance. I didn't like the horrible cigarette stained pickguard so I took some car polish and removed most of it to give it a more genuine look. I find the bridge pickup to be too bright for me but the neck pickup is just about right for most of my playing. The relic job is amazing except they should have done the pickguard screws as well. The Bukka switch is inaudible at home but really helps in a gig situation. I'd recommend this guitar at the price point.

    Bro is the fretboard wide on this one? Or is it slim?

    So the so-called “buffer switch’s” main function is to cancel hum (from what I can tell). So the question is, why have a switch at all? Wouldn’t you want to cancel the hum all the time? Doesn’t effect the tone much….

    • @1970Richiez
      @1970Richiez 2 года назад +2

      yes it does affect the tone slightly... its not bad just a bit different... I dont mind the hum to me its part of playing guitar

    I finally found one of these at a GC; had it shipped to me. Worst guitar I’ve played in recent memory. Horrible.
    I returned it to GC two days later. I was really interested in the neck profile, because one I foolishly passed on had an AWESOME Neck. This one was no different than my “C’ type neck on my MIM strat. The guitar needed about $150 put into it for set up and balancing, but the whole thing just felt like junk to me. a Real disappointment. Thanks that GC has a guarantee…..

      I've played and owned a variety of different electric guitars. I have one of these. It's the best guitar I've owned. (It's the most expensive, so it should be!) Many people don't like the relic - ing. I do, personally. It's not for everyone.
