I've had this guitar for three years now. Overall it's been great, as said in the video the guitar stays very well in tune even when you dig in with the tremolo arm. The neck is fast and smooth and it's a very good weight and balance. I didn't like the horrible cigarette stained pickguard so I took some car polish and removed most of it to give it a more genuine look. I find the bridge pickup to be too bright for me but the neck pickup is just about right for most of my playing. The relic job is amazing except they should have done the pickguard screws as well. The Bukka switch is inaudible at home but really helps in a gig situation. I'd recommend this guitar at the price point.
Hi, please do one of these videos on the v6 icon HSS sunburst model with rhe gloss relic finish, it'd really be a deciding factor for me, I don't see that guitar anywhere
Hi man. Here in Italy a guy sells an old Vintage GTR,similar to a Washburn Falcon, two hum,and on the headstock under Vintage logo Is the name of Skewes Hornby.Do you have any info about It plz?thanks
He says...early 90's but i have no name or specs about this beautiful GTR(apart as i sad that Is similar to Washburn Falcon or Yamaha sx,that Rory Gallagher played in few occasions)
So the so-called “buffer switch’s” main function is to cancel hum (from what I can tell). So the question is, why have a switch at all? Wouldn’t you want to cancel the hum all the time? Doesn’t effect the tone much….
I finally found one of these at a GC; had it shipped to me. Worst guitar I’ve played in recent memory. Horrible. I returned it to GC two days later. I was really interested in the neck profile, because one I foolishly passed on had an AWESOME Neck. This one was no different than my “C’ type neck on my MIM strat. The guitar needed about $150 put into it for set up and balancing, but the whole thing just felt like junk to me. a Real disappointment. Thanks that GC has a guarantee…..
I've played and owned a variety of different electric guitars. I have one of these. It's the best guitar I've owned. (It's the most expensive, so it should be!) Many people don't like the relic - ing. I do, personally. It's not for everyone.
I bought this guitar today, the best Strat I have played so far... its awesome
Hey bud is it rosewood or pau ferro
I have this guitar. I love it. It is equally good to my US and Mexican strats. The PUs are very good, I really like the sound.
Way to go Vintage.

Sir Thomas Blug summer of love review plz.
I prefer the look of the summer of love model, but I'm not sure about reverse headstock. Any advice beetween the two models?
Both models are the same specification

@@VintageGuitarsOfficial Hi, thanks I know they are the same. I meant what's the impact of reverse headstock on sound, feel and playability
@@frankthepriest1220 There are no differences in sound, feel and playability.
@@VintageGuitarsOfficial ok so just an aesthetic choice, thanks

Bro is the fretboard wide on this one? Or is it slim?

@@matthewmedina1802 you bet; although most times I don’t “buy” from them, I “rent.”
The worst guitar I've had, disgusting finishes, average sounds.
