Hey there bro!!! If you had to choose one bike for traveling and having fun which one would you choose. This Suzuki or the tracer 9 gt and why?? Thanks a lot keep up the good work!!!
Hi! Thanks for your videos, I am fan of it. I have one question to you: in your opinion which one is the best sport touring bike ninja 1000sx or this Suzu GT?
How do you find the wind protection/noise? Most reviewers complain about it very badly. Are you running the standard or touring screen? Thanks mate, this sounds incredibly well, both the bike and your production. edit: Too impatient, just got to the end of the video where you talk about it. So it seems you agree with others, clean but very noisy wind. Do you find the same with the Ninja 1000? Or is the wind noise/turbulence better with that one
I rode a ninja 1000 lately and found it very comfortable at speed. There was virtually no buffetting and hardly any wind noise cruising at about 100mph. I was very impressed with it
Which one would you choose between this and the kawa ninja 1000sx? I am thinking about buying one of those two, but I am just not sure which one to go for. The kawa looks a little bit more sophisticated on paper (lean sensitive electronics, torquier engine with lower top end, so maybe better on road?).
No, I currently have this bike and the cruise control sucks. Hardly works most of the time. I have to activate it before I can actually ride or it will not work. It's alot of complaints about the cruise control if you google it. Its a good bike, but they cruise control was a factor for buying it. And saddle bags are not that great. The lock system on the panniers already broke, and only used it twice.
Leider.
You don't have to rev it at all. You can comfortably do 50kph in 5th or so. Drop it down one gear and you're good to overtake basically everything from the same speed on.
Glad you liked it. Hopefully they fix the gearing thing next update. What were your thoughts on the brakes? Reviewers always mentioned them feeling wooden.
I have the 2022 GSX S1000 (same brakes) and although they don't have that same bite that other bike have (the wooden feeling), once you feed power into them they are very good. A different set of brake pads will solve the issue, as well as a better master cylinder and some braided lines. Overall though they are good
Thanks Jello! I was totally fine with the brakes although I also did not test them to the limit. For the kind of riding shown in the video they were powerful enough and also quite easy to control
wow ,... what a ride! You mentioned the gear ratio and this is what i felt myself when i saw you ridding ... you get the most of the power when you have already reached big speed and you have to slow down. You mentioned it is easy fix ... what is the fix? and do you have to correct the speedometer if you do it? (i suppose you change a spoke) ... i couldn't stop watching this video
I had the GSX-S1000, like 2017 version or something. The engine is the only thing i remember. It's something, and that noise it does, like a dragon ready to bite... The suspension, the brakes etc didn't convince me. The actual GT is the roadster with additional amount of plastic, not a real sport-GT. It doesn't even offer a semi-handlebar. Even the CBR650 has semi-handlebar !
Wonderful ride ! I used to have this GT but the wind protection was really bad for an all day use. It's sad because I really enjoyed this bike. Thank you for your videos !
Thanks for one more! there is a strange sound under the harder brakes what is that? And the questions is, this or the 1000sx? this is lighter and has more 10hp, do you notice it, do you think it turns better then the Sx? And do you think it scrappes the footpegs to easily? Cheers ;)
that's ABS on the rear getting engaged. I'd have to compare the SX and GT directly to be able to make that call. I can't do it from my memory. But the Suzuki definitely does have enough ground clearance for my style of riding
@@Schaaf would be nice if they gave these bikes at least hydraulic preload adjusters for passenger/luggage purposes. Having that being electronic would be even more awesome.
