Describing Xavier Worthy as just a fast in a straight line guy shows how little you’ve actually watched, he’s a very good route runner (one of the best in the draft) and he plays very physical.
And Can Track Down The Over The Shoulder Catch
And You See What Andy Did With Desean Jackson, Same Weight Worthy's Taller And Faster
What’s hilarious is this guy was viewed as a first round pick BEFORE he ever ran the 4.21 at the combine and now people are trying to act like that’s all he is..
Incredibly off base and lazy analysis really. Worthy produced at a high level as a freshman at Texas and did so for 3 straight years. Out produced Adonai Mitchell every single season as well.
People are clueless. lol they’re just hoping for the chiefs to fail and at this point it’s hilarious
@@jeffreyhardman8621 Andy said CEH, was Brian Westbrook.
@@arthasmenethil4297 Ok, Pat Was Supposed To Be A Bust And He's The Best QB In League, Nobody's Perfect But DAM Near
Saying that Xavior Worthy is a straight line runner, reminds me of when Mahomes was being called a gun slinger. The tape shows Worthy using his historical speed to set players up with clever underneath routes. Worthy knows how to get open on all three levels and hasn't missed many games due to injury either.
The high note of every scouting report on Xavier Worthy was he is more than just a vertical guy, and that he ran the entire route tree. This guy has a job doing an NFL podcast?
Statistically, he isn’t a typical straight line guy either. The production number that sets Worthy apart from other elite WRs was in short pass YAC! In his time at Texas, on catches that came 10 or fewer yards from the line of scrimmage, Worthy averaged an 8.5 YAC. The average YAC for under 10 yrs receptions by receivers selected in Round 1 or 2 over the past 10 years is 6.7 yards. Only one other WR in the last decade of NCAA tied Worthy's rate - Deebo Samuel. Worthy’s short pass YAC in college was better than the production of Zay Flowers, Rondale Moore, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Rashee Rice.
On athletic attributes he graded near perfect in every category except weight. His arms are long, and his hands are huge.
So no, if you think he is a straight line speed guy, you have no idea what you are talking about. Not in measurables, not in scouting evaluations, and not in production statistics. It’s simply not true by any credible metric.
His explosion metrics are literally better than tyreek hill’s lol
Dude is an absolute idiot and I have no idea how he has a show. His takes are always this lazy and thoughtless..
This foo saying he worries about X winning the the one on one's, and he don't think that highly of him literally screams, I didn't watch tape on this dude and only knew him from the combine. Great journalistic work. 🙄
They forget about the head coach and what he will do with a weapon like this.
Same Thing He Did With Desean Jackson
Terrior Arnold sounds like a DAWG!
Worthy is better than AD, dummie
Her voice.
Probably a dude
Bro that’s an it
Worthy is a bust
What makes him a bust? lol
Production in college says otherwise.
Please Please come back here halfway through the Season! If you have the cajones! So you can apologize!
You probably said the same thing about Mahomes😂😂
I was leaning in this direction until I listened to Belichick talk about special teams and his return avg. With the new kick off rules we might be treated to the Human Joystick 2.0
Adonai Mitchell is better than worthy
lol you are definitely delusional
The entire NFL disagrees lol.
LOL!
But who has the best QB? Lol
His size is my only real concern but have seen other WR's with slight frames do well in NFL so, I'll remain optimistic until we see it be an issue
compared to tyreek , he was a gadget until mahomes
Spell check that headline. Smh
