    I love the La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreen just because of the application and that Mexoryl 400 filter (it's like the best UVA filter out there and no other brand has anything like it). L'Oreal are seriously flexing their muscles right now, lol. I've tried the Bondi Sands Hydra UV Protect and it's so good too for head to toe protection if you like the one and done approach. I have the Eucerin Oil Control sunscreen but haven't had the time to try it, looking forward to it.

      Hi, is uvmune 400 good for very oily and acne prone skin with a powder? Doesn't this cause breakouts?
      And is uvnume suit for under foundation? No pill?

      @@ma-cb79on I have an oily t-zone and it's fine. It has a natural finish, not matt or oily. I've also powdered over it loads of times and put my makeup on after application with no pilling. With regards to acne, that would really be dependent on so many factors and is often a personal thing but I haven't had an issue with that and I have acne prone skin

    This year my holy grail was the Eucerin dry touch spf50 200ml bottle, it often has a discount so it's super affordable for the amount I get and it has a natural finish on me. If you had told me before that I will find a body sunscreen that I can apply 5 layers of on the face and not look greasy I would have called you crazy before this.

    I must say I tried the Eucerin after you shared it a few years ago and bought it several times thereafter but the newer formula did pill on me depending on what steps I had used underneath so like today it didn’t pill but it did all last week when I had a diff skincare routine in another state. Nonetheless, as a semi oily girl, this will continue to be my go to 😊 and the new La Roche is shiny for MY liking, but it’s really the only sunscreen/tech I’m willing to compromise the finish for protection!

      @@morgianasartre6709 I don’t care so much about the filters, I‘m a one and done person and the sunscreen seems like a one and done product because of the moisturizing effects and it looks great under makeup in some videos.

    • @morgianasartre6709
      @morgianasartre6709 Год назад

      @@Rubye269 Generally american filters break down faster so European filters are more efficient if you prefer a one and done approach and still want to get adequate protection throughout the day without regular reapplication. Plus they are more elegant and more gentle, you often hear americans complaining that sunscreen stings their eyes - usually the case with old generation filters.

    My husband's favorite sunscreen is the Rain or Shine by Jaxon Lane. Do you know of a sunscreen out there that's similar but cheaper? I will try the Bondi Sands one, I'm Australian and love their sun and body care products but haven't tried their more skincare focused line yet. I go through a LOT of body sunscreen, lotion and gradual tanner because I swim most days in summer and it keeps me hydrated and protected.
    I'm not sure I'd try Anthelios again, I am dry skinned and I have a whole swathe of VERY greasy holiday photos where I wore it, people thought I had a fever/was sweaty even after powder. Nope.

    My current favorite is the L'Oréal UV Defender Invisible Fluid. This one is identical to the La Roche Posay UVmune formulation-wise, except it's much cheaper. The LRP sunscreen is around $30 here, while the L'Oréal is only $6 - it's even cheaper if you buy 2. They both have the same runny, liquidy texture. They're also super water resistant and have the best protection. I refuse to repurchase the LRP sunscreen after finding out about this sunscreen.

Also very drying so you'll need that thick hydrating serum layer underneath. Can't reapply because of the texture issues. Dislike it intensely.
