i woke up this morning, first thing i did was check my emails, saw this link, watched the first 3 minutes and just had to grab my guitar, you always inspire me Eddie, another great lesson, cheers very much
Eddie! You are such an Articulate,& Charming Teacher... I'm mean Guitarist! 😂. BOTH! I've taken Charlie's, who's a Fabulous teacher+ Guitarist, 10week course.. Unfortunately,, I couldn't stay active monthly.. Thought! I have the Booklet still Playing & Referring to lessons.= Modes 🙄 😅 I'm ok..Back to You .I Still & Always follow You + GMM. Hopefully! I will Rejoin again,,; I ❤"Them Blues," Course You Teach.. Keep on Keeping On! ✌️🌹😉
I'm confident with jamming to an E backing track 12 fret Em scale. Adding vibrato, bending, sliding etc but it doesn't have soul like you and other guitarists. This could be the key to unlock my boring playing. Can't wait to give it a go. 🎸🎸
The Gibson in the video has P90 pickups. P-90s are single-coil pickups, similar to strats, but with bar magnets set under the coils. They have a higher output than a traditional single-coil. The altered design gives more punch to the sound. They are brighter than humbuckers but not as bright as single coils.
One of the things im working on is call and response. I have started "taking a breath" between the call and response. Mates say I'm sounding a bit santana like now. Seems to me to be the right direction. 😊
Wow, I've been in a slump for some time with this problem. This lesson arrives just in time. I would never quit but was questioning myself about it. Everytime I play I wind up playing continues notes. The next thing I realize is I'm not bending notes and no vibrato. Just continuos notes. I ask myself why does every song I play sound the same? Use the same notes over and over. My favorite songs are Rock but I do like Blues. I'm going to stick to Blues for awhile because I see this lesson is more applicable. I gotta ask you though, can you do a lesson like this for Rock? Thanks for making this available. I'm taking breathes and this allows a chance to think ahead! Thank you again!
Eddie you are awesome!! What a great way to make phrasing better with pauses here and there, like you said instead of playing a monotone bunch of notes. It's like a conversation instead of hearing someone ramble on non stop. Great advice there!! If you weren't aware It's M M from GMM 😁
I got that downloaded, interesting, yeah you guys always have some interesting tips, bends tapping , oh and the pick thickness ! That was one interesting subject !! I got to get me some things ones thanks Eddie !!

I also like to stay close to the 12th fret. That's where the strings get the maximum amount of bend.
Okay...luv it spacy
Love the guitar and it sounds like a Strat.

@@alaskaaksala123 haha I bet you could.
Interesting, many of the top guitarists talk about playing like a drummer improving their sounds.

When playing blues/rock it’s a very common move
