This is the best lead lesson I have ever seen! Not even half way through and not only have I already actually learned some immediately useable tips but a bunch of things that never made sense clicked into place too. Lightbulb moment indeed.

For the first time since I started playing, the Pentatonic scale has become useful and interesting! Thanks Eddie

I can't believe it, I ran and picked up my guitar after your first example of breaking up into the three sections on the pentatonic. I instantly started Jamming and it sounded planted and right it didn't sound "wrong" or off pitch like it always has even though I was noodling with the correct key pentatonic. Excellent teaching tip and video 😁

I am 64 and around 50 years ago I bought an Avon SG copy without having ever before touched a musical instrument. I never learned how to play it properly but now having watched your videos I am inspired to try again.

@flouisbailey Sorry, but I no longer have it, sold it years ago. I am waiting for Black Friday next week to buy another guitar.

@ As a 73 year old intermediate player, I found you need to play all the chords you know on any guitar you buy. I have a bad thumb and thick necks hurt, too narrow or wide hurts. It’s a Goldilocks thing. Hope you find something you enjoy. My near perfection is an American Strat, I owned for two years then changed high e and B strings (thinner) and it became my favorite. Happy Hunting for that special one or two, lol

Eddie is the best, I absolutely love his lessons. Eddie and Charlie have shown me how to take my guitar playing into the next galaxy. I love all the instructors and courses at GMM and it's worth every cent. Between the Ultimate Guitarist Blueprint and the 10-week Master the Fretboard, you will be playing like a pro. Thank you!

Scales are for learning where notes are on the fretboard, then you use the circle of 5ths to put notes together into pleasing phrases, that's music.

I'm starting on 3rd or 5th, then root to 6th and 9th. The resolve can then be root or 3rd or 5th. Eddie and Charlie are great teachers because they get your brain motivated to think musically. I love GMM.

You should make a video lesson showing this in each box position to add in the IV chord notes and V chord tones in each box position.
