    The electrical discharge through gases could be possible only at low pressure and it allows the atom present in discharge tube to release electron from its orbit easily.

    Low pressure means that less number of gas molecules is present in the discharge tube. If the number of molecules is very less, the collisionws between the electrons which move towards the anode with a high velocity and the gas molecules and formation of cathode rays takes place. Moreover, high voltage increases the kinetic energy of the electrons which in turn increases the probability of removal of electrons form the gaseous molecules

    orr normal pressure me bhot gases hoti he jisse confusion ho jaata islie low pressure me kam gases rakhi

    Sir is plastic made of atoms if yes then where is the atoms goes when we burn it

    • @ndacadet6401
      @ndacadet6401 4 года назад +12

      It is clearly known that Gases too have atoms . So when plastic is burnt , definitely either CO gas ( in the case of incomplete combustion ) or CO 2 ( in the case of complete combustion ) will be produced . Since the gases also have atoms , so atoms are lost no where and will be produced in the form of gas in equal amount as they were before the reaction . Remember law of conservation of mass . It tells atoms or matter can neither be created nor be destroyed . Therefore , in the given situation atoms will not be lost anywhere .

    Sir you said that hydrogen breakdown into electron and protron which led to the formation of canal ray as H ion travels toward cathode .
    So I can conclude that during proton discover cathode and canal ray was produced due to the ionisation of hydrogen atom .
    Then , in cathode ray experiment you took inert gases in tube . So my question is ( in cathode ray experiment )
    Where does electron comes that travel toward anode ?
    Can like hydrogen , inert gas ionised to give electron ??

    • @punitzn
      @punitzn 4 года назад +1

      Yes but becoz cathode ray the anode is perforated and in canal rays cathode is perforated so during discovery of electron the inert gas ionise and -ve charge electron attract by anode and pass through holes in anode and +ve charged proton also attract to cathode but due to solid surface ( without any holes) it didn't see and vice versa

    • @dearlittlelearners2479
