I think the comments are pretty disingenious about the studio vs fan anime being better. One had to cover a lot more ground with a tight schedule while the other is a limitless passion project of a few scenes. Nonetheless, I'm glad that we are still getting more berserk content.
Fair point, that being said you really shouldn't bite off more than you can chew, which is exactly what the studio did.
Furthermore I can't believe someone actually defending that thing, quality wise it's basically on par with some of the worst kids tv shows out there.

@@Klaris530 i feel conflict for a fan animation its a good to see this quality but for a anime studio the need to make profits for its for a 24 min episode per season but they could make the cgi better/improve a bit like studio orange the cgi the did the new Trigun Stampede but in the end animation cost money and time and lot of hard work/planning

Well , obviously anime studio did for money that the anime generate but as a fan of berserk, the higher ups of them trying to earn as much as money but still FAN animators like you we need brother. Congratulations for making this great animation

You portray Guts better while the original portrays Grunbeld better. I love when the good guy is portrayed as a monster just because it feels cool to feel their rage at injustice

Truly stunning when side by side.
I will say I do like the bone break split away, but it does interrupt the flow of the scene. The roar shockwave is cool as well but is easily outdone by your transformation blasting Guts away instead of a cut to sudden purple.
Seeing them reuse that damn dialogue cutaway and face shot is mind boggling. It's truly a disgrace that we are less likely to get anime because of their abject failure.

@@eldritxPersonally, I have no qualms about the CGI Movement, but I think the textures are too flat and not grimy enough especially compared to the anime. The motion blur usage could probably be toned down a bit as well as the comp. And the boards could probably be a lot more clearer. It's still a fantastic project nonetheless and I find your work to be the best I can find so far.

Aight so....this is kinda just HC for me, but I think the end of the fight would be so could if Grunbeld started to legitimately fear Guts, but Guts being as ruthless as he is in the Berserker Armor, never really gives him a chance to escape, maybe really lean into the animalistic side of the mad dog Armor, like having Guts start to tear Grunbeld's chest start clawing away at the flesh and begin breaking bones. While this is going on Schiereke would be within Guts' mind at this point, going between both scenes somewhat. And right as Scheireke convinces Guts to let go of his anger, it snaps out to a shot of Guts pointing the cannon once again at Grunbeld's now exposed racing heart, have him at this point crying and begging for mercy, really twist the fact that Guts made this arrogant Apostle his BITCH. And then immediately afterwards have guts do what he does in the manga and go and save Casca and the others. That would be fucking perfect for in ending IMO. Lol. You don't gotta read this.
