  • Jeshi letu is written by Joshua RWOLEKYA and SELINA SITATI when the Salvation Army in Kenya was to celebrate 90 years of existence in East Africa there was a request for songs for this occasion. unfortunately this song was not among those that were preferred for this occasion. However the song was adopted by Quarryroad Citadel songsters Kenya and recorded as part of their music album.
The song is simply encouraging Salvationists around Africa and all Christians who subscribe to the Salvation Army faith in Africa to protect and defend the Salvation Army. it further continues to seek God to protect and guide the Salvation in Africa. the song basically followed the lines of the National Anthem of Kenya.
    Refrain
    Ee Mungu twaomba baraka zako.
    Ewe Mungu tubariki tukuitapo Leo
    Translated
God we seek for your blessings as we all upon you today.

Talk of quality, well blended voices, projection from a small group that is recognized internationally. This brigade has it. Thanks to JK Rwolekya for this.
