Oh dam, I think I am just going to wait for all your vids and experiments before I decide what to get lol. I have a little over a month before dday where I gotta get all this stuff before hand. Hopefully, those att plans on ebay don't disappear by then.
RSRP-79 dBm SNR 14 dB RSRQ -10 dB RSSI-50 dBm I did a redirect and i can get 16 to 17 db now on snr . What if i buy antenna will it go higher you think?
@@rockernro oh yea here is a link to a good read about a guy who has them setup ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=394 try this link too its has tons of good info ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=103 also im getting ready to put up my 4x4 MIMO setup on the tower in about 10 days using the Parabolic grid as my main and 3 flat panel antenna
Sorry John but it is obvious that your shooting in the dark. LPDA are by far the better antennas. Problem is you have to set them up correctly! Pointing them in 2 different directions is a no no. and they need to be at 45 degrees and at least 60 cm apart to get proper MIMO (even a meter apart in long distance rural) . Suggest you get hold of USA distributor of Poynting antennas to help you with your setup. There are also videos from Poynting to guide you with your setup. Next you cannot do 4G with one cable! As soon as you use one cable it's 3G. My advice is to re mount the LPDA's as advised, download the App Cell Info and determine which Tower is where and what signal . Then pull up your RSSI, RSRP and RSRQ on your Router. Focus mainly on RSRQ and slowly rotate your LPDA array left and right and slightly up , until you get RSRQ the lowest under - 10 (ie -7 is good). Now lock your array , do the fastest download test ever . Greetings from South Africa, makers of Poynting, the best antennas in the world imho :)
C-TEAM TRADING lol I’ve oriented them every which way it makes no difference and it’s not a shot in the dark dude I know what the hell im talking about . I’m only going to get the gain that the antennas are capable of. I haven’t yet to see an antenna that has more than -26 gain. No LDPAs are not better. When it rains they get coated thus degrading your signal. Take it from me I’ve tested every kind of antenna. Nice try tho! Enjoy poynting your poynting lol
Man you probably putting up all these parabolic antennas and your service providers just slowing you down. I'm thinking about getting one for my house but I don't know man I think you service providers slow everybody down when they used too much and it's not going to help you to have these
Hey I just set up my mofi. When the signal page does load it shows no signal. I usually get 1-3 with our phones. Is this normal, do I just need to hook my yagis up and move them around to look for signal? Or do I have a bad unit ? Thanks
If it shows no signal then potentially yes keep turning the yagis and watch in real time until a signal appears. Then look at the decibels and get them as low as possible. I would use my phone have mofi WiFi on it and watch it real time from phone while I was on roof turning it. Hope that helps let me know!
Hi, great video! Do you know if there is a difference between grid parabolic and so called parabolic dish, and which is better ? Also some people make parabolic dish with cantenna what do you think is it better than only parabolic dish?
Uh oh another major question that occurred to me. Say If I buy a sim card and plan on ebay do I need internet to set it up (the account) to even get the mofi to work? If so how would one do that if one cannot get service?.
I have a Hi-Boost 4k plus cell phone booster and the cable is an type N connection. With your experience can you tell me if it's compatible with this antenna..? Thank you for doing this video...
I’m not sure but judging by the connector yes the N male would work just make sure you have the cable that has the opposing male and the other end SMA male to MOFI

@@jerrywhite4497 oorah! Lol, so I looked up the hiboost antenna, looks like a standard yagi just the little triangle antenna? Yes you can try it but here’s my recommendation. I was like you needed decent internet the best I could with LTE and when it works, it works! So, see how that does connected into the antenna primary port remember to get the cable we talked about. Second, if it sucks, get the parabolic and use the hiboost antenna as your secondary antenna to assist you with signal quality. The primary is the signal strength and a parabolic rips! $150 dollars? In India they sell the equivalent of $10 dollars
put both grids up they rock, 45deg them keep about 1ft apart
mezmerizz so you think I should put the dish back on? You think it’ll make a difference?

Height/direct line of site means everything with those grids. Plus, you'll find 'hot spots' as you raise its height.

I had a grandfathered SIM card I wasn’t slowed down at all. I used well over 1000GB I’ve heard t-mobile is now truly unlimited tho

I don’t have any experience with the dish only the grid and my experience was awesome with grid! So much more range with it and power speeds
