Do I need an internet provider when using Bolton Technical Long Ranger Antenna to get internet ? or there is no needs because the Antenna will get the signal even if you don't have a service available ?
Am I bought the antenna but there is no router to brought cast the signal , how can I get the signal to my phone , I'm from Guyana and work in the backdam
Hi Shevin, You will unfortunately need to have the antenna attached to a modem or router of some sort. Otherwise it has not real function. This device could be a 4G modem or a 4G booster.
You would need to connect the antenna to the external WiFi port. Look for the RP SMA connector (see other video on that same topic) and use that to connect a coaxial cable (50Ohm)

I think you may be better off looking at the Poynting XPOL-2 antenna, or even the EPNT. You'll need MIMO to make the best of possible 5G connections. As for sending one...in that case I'm pretty sure you'll have UK suppliers ;)
@@RFShop thanks for the suggestion. Currently got 2x Iskra P60 antennas which are just awesome and give about 98dbm and a Bluespot MIMO antenna antenna which is about 107dbm but the mast I use transmits on band 32 which not many antennas are rated for.
Hi Brian. We did test it, and it works well. I do find it a bit big for general use and testing though. Seems there's currently a bigger appetite for other topics online

The nearest cell toward is at 30 km. Does that antenna will work?
Potentially yes, but you will need to do some homework

Hi. Unfortunately you will need a subscription to a service provider to make the internet connection.

which is better my towers at 13 and 17 miles - this parabolic or the poynting xpol2
Hi! I would assume the parabolic antenna is a better choice

Is this available in Philippines?
Hi Rey,
Not sure if there is a local supplier, but we can certainly try to help shipping from Adelaide, Australia.
Would love to see a review of this device from a remote area data connection

I'm 8km from a 5G mast in the UK, practically with line of sight. Send one to me and I'll review it 😉

Ben, getting a decent MIMO LPDA will also work really well in remote areas where data is the primary focus
