      Chris Paul point god No Way Wilt played against Against 1-2 pretty good centers. Hakeem played against players like Ewing, Robinson, Mourning Shaq, and remained the best player. He would make them look stupid. All Time wise I think Hakeem is better and skill wise he has better post moves than any Center in History.

He's the only player to win a ring with no all stars or hall of fame coach, the only player to win MVP, finals MVP, and dpoy in the same season, the only player to record 2 quadruple doubles, the only player to record 200+ blocks(282) and 200+ steals(213) in the same season, the only player to retire in the top 10 in 5 categories points, rebounds, fg%, blocks and steals, and he lead the only #6 seed to a championship and the only team that beat four 57+ win teams for that ring! Hakeen literally outplayed every single all time great center he has faced in a playoff series and also in different stages of his career... Kareen, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq... you name it. MOST COMPLETE BIG EVER BY FAR. I don't know if he's the best coz like being the most complete and the best are 2 different things for example Shaq wasn't a more complete player than Robinson (worse passer and defender with less stamina) but overall his production and dominance made him a better player overall so I really don't know. All I know is that the center spot is by far the hardest to rank you gotta a clear top 5 (Russel, Wilt, Kareem, Hakeen and Shaq) where each could have a solid argument for being the best

      " overal careers its kareem " BULLSHIT..Alcinder played great LONGER-THAT'S ALL..Dream was hands down no question the superior defensive player-BY FAR and in the post season, Alcinder didn't have jack shit on Dream offensively-both equally as great..Put Dream with Magic and Oscar Robertson as teammates-Olajuwon would have 6 titles like Kareem, maybe more..What idiots like you fail to realize is though Kareem was a damn good defensive player-he wasn't REMOTELY THE DEFENSIVE BEAST Olajuwon was-NO ONE IN HISTORY DOMINATED on both sides of the floor like Olajuwon-that is 100% fact.

    • @robertjohnson6501
      @robertjohnson6501 6 лет назад +23

      Bullshit again. A very.sports Knowledgable friend of mine, who was no fan of Dream's and actually was a die hard Laker fan where most of Alcinder's fame came from put this statement to me-"Olajuwon with Magic, HE'D BE MVP EVERY YEAR"..Team sport man-when Magic was asked who he'd build a franchise around-Hakeem..Bill Russell, Shaq, Jordan -all 3 put Olajuwon above Alcinder..Shaq and Michael put Dream as #1 center, Russell(if he couldn't pick himself!) put Wilt at # 1, other times Olajuwon #1(couldn't make up his mind I guess).. It ain't that simple-only in your mind it's simple. Alcinder actually had 2 losing record teams IN HIS PRIME-Olajuwon did not have 1 single losing record until his knees were shot to hell-well past his prime..Dream played about 80% of his prime years w/out 1 damn all star teammate...All those awards don't mean jack shit when you're about to lose game 6 with John Starks draining shots and about to put you out of the finals with a shot from the corner, Olajuwon?-A freakin CENTER-GOING OUT to block a GUARD and win the game.. Alcinder doesn't get off his lazy ass and make that block to save his life..Lew blocked shots with his 7 ' 2 frame and 5 foot long arms-IN THE KEY.. Dream blocked EVERYONE with his 6' 11 frame and 10x the effort. Give me a break.

    • @robertjohnson6501
      @robertjohnson6501 6 лет назад +9

      Fuck you...If it was a solo sport what you're posting may make sense.. But apparently a few experts like Shaq and Jordan And Russell say you're full of shit...I don't look at trophies or awards when comparing players..I ACTUALLY WATCH THE PLAYERS PLAY...Dream was twice the athlete Alcinder was and put 10x the effort. W/OUT Magic AND OSCAR ROBERTSON-Alcinder's fame would drop drastically.. Hell Dream in '94 had to be the MVP OF THE regular season, MVP OF THE FINALS-and THE BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE NBA To carry that team to the finals.. Not 1 single all star teammate..Alcinder was great, but LAZY compared to Dream. 100% fact.

      So does Jordan, Vernon Maxwell was like a mini-Payton, and Hakeem scared the shit of them in the post. Oh yea, they would also have Luc Longley defending him, lmaoooo. There's a reason the Rockets were one of the only teams to beat them during the RS, and Hakeem only got better in the playoffs.
      It wasn't that Hakeem or the Rockets were better, he was just a matchup nightmare for them, completely obliterating Pippen's offense and just dumping buckets out of the post.

    • @drew44felix60
      @drew44felix60 3 года назад

      In sports we believe in Momentum, luck, and confidence, That being said the stars had to align For the rockets to get that 1st one sure enough they were good enough but all the greats say luck also lends a hand. #1 Denver Nuggets number 8 seed beating the supersonics in 5 If we were a match up nightmare for the bulls the sonics were a matchup problems for the rockets. #2 The Knicks beat a Jordanless bulls And this is an inspired Bulls team playing with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove that they can win without him they had motivation The dynamic changes if Jordan doesn't retire their team looking for their 4th title so instead of inspired they're tired So the knicks beat the bulls Which everybody would agree would be much more inspiring and motivating to beat the bulls with Jordan on the team and I think the knicks win the title with that kind of motivation because they lost a close match with the rockets in 7. So Without Jordan in the league rockets beat the knicks in 7 With Michael Jordan in the league rockets lose to the knicks in 6.

      @margarinetaintedgreen8140 9 месяцев назад

      @@ikarugaxx3749 "Humiliated" is indeed strong language. One could decide for themselves how to best describe a scenario where, in a 7-game NBA Finals series, one team leader,
      a) averages almost twice as many turnovers as assists (1.7 APG / 3.1 TOs/G),
      and,
      b) shoots 36 FG% for 5.5 less PPG than his season average,
      and the other one,
      a) matches his regular season assist average (3.5 APG), averages over 2x the assists as the other guy, and does this despite his 3 top-scoring teammates in the series (Maxwell, Horry, Cassell) shooting a combined 36 FG% for a combined 34 PPG
      b) matches his regular season average (27 PPG) on 50 FG%,
      c) shoots 86 FT% on 6 FTA/G, 14.5% better than the other guy (71.5 FT%, despite taking only half as many FTs/G, 3 FTA/G),
      and,
      d) still averages 9 RPG, 1.6 SPG and 3.9 BPG
      In a must-win NBA Finals Game 4, at home in MSG, down 1-2 in the series, Ewing shot 8-28 (28.5 FG%), went 0-2 in free throws, and fouled out with 16 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 1steal, and 1 block.
      Olajuwon in that game: 14-20 (70 FG%), 4-4 FTs, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 blocks.
      With an opportunity to win it all in the elimination game 6, Ewing shot 6-20 (30 FG%) for 17 points. He was tremendous defensively (15 rebounds, 4 blocks) but terrible offensively. Instead of NYK sealing the deal right then and there with an at-least-average offensive performance from Ewing, they found themselves merely teetering on the precipice of the NBA Championship in the closing seconds due to John Starks's 27 points on 50/56/80 shooting.
      After scoring 30 points on 11-21 (52.5 FG%) and perfect 8-8 free-throw shooting, grabbing 10 rebounds, 4 blocks and 1 steal, Dream not only came all the way from the high post to switch the 2-5 PNR, not only blanketed 6'5" SG off the switch, but STRAIGHT UP BLOCKED STARKS' 3-POINT ATTEMPT to save the season.
      I never said Dream "humiliated" Shaq. I said he swept him. I should have said, "...led HOU to a sweep of Shaq/Penny ORL..." Either way, I never said Dream "humiliated" Shaq.
