Watching this video conjured up feelings of aloha for the aina and our ways of living. We had fresh fish, Limu and poi all the time. We worked in the taro patch as a way of life. Living this way takes discipline and commitment. We had no choice. But how blessed. I just picked up limu ‘ele’ele the other day. I think of mama. Mahalo ke akua.

Thats my dream life. I was born in Waimanalo but my mom moved us to town at age 4. We attended town school but she moved us back to Waimanalo when we graduated at 18. Every Saturday we were back at grandma's and grandpa's house in Waimanalo. Every summer, Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving and every occasion and celebration we were at grandma's and grandpas house. My grandpa taught me everything he knew about propagating plants. I have grown everything in my own gardens. I want to live off the aina and grow my own food but no land available. My backyard is too small and my association wouldnt like it. I would have to rent a parcel maybe but yes Ed and wife are blessed for sure.

As long as the USA has military bases on our Aina (Island) NATO and other allies depend on the fast dispatch of the Navy, Army etc. to Europe and other areas of the globe. Pearl Harbor was suppose to be temporary because of the Spanish war now look um just like weeds overgrown the american military leeches without doubt never to leave. Getting Kanaka Maoli caught up in American laws who's laws were dedicated to serve only american Ideologies. Blood quantum is soooo high that we have no future in perpetuating our race which means no land (Homestead) which fucking sucks!!!!!
